“I lived at Bracera for a year, the grounds were kept very well! The landscape folks come around every Wednesday and cut the grass, so keep that in mind when working from home. The windows do a great job at keeping the noise out (almost all noise). The building was built in like 2015-ish. For being in the area and somewhat close to Seattle, the apartments are HUGE. They are definitely worth the monthly rent for what you get versus a 600 sq foot apartment in the city and living like sardines. We loved that each floor had only two apartments and we were lucky to have great neighbors the entire time. You can make the place your own, just be sure to do a great job on returning it to normal in the end.Parking is ample. I work from home, I only ventured out on weekends and still had spots open when we got back late. The only traffic you will see are the cars pulling in and out the complex. The area is ridiculously safe and really close to all shopping centers and access to the highway. We felt comfortable going out at night and walking around the neighborhood after sunset. The community is gated and close at 6-ish on weekdays and closed on weekends.I’m not sure why the negative reviews. We kept our place really clean (we are clean freaks lol) and annotated everything on the move in form and went through their checklist very carefully for the move out. We even hired in a cleaner to make sure the apartment was spotless and filled in holes where we had TVs hanging. We got our deposit minus some from the time they spent painting.Tip: go through the move in form carefully, take pictures of videos on your first day. On the move out, they are sticklers on cleanliness, follow the checklist carefully. Ask when the last time the carpet was changed out, they swap them out every 5 years, so you don’t get hit with a unexpected carpet fee. Ours was oldish so it was at its end of life or nearing it. Let management know everything via email, helps you keep records. In the summer take a swim at the pool. It’s never full, relax and enjoy the area.We were sad to leave but hope to visit our friends soonAlso the staff were super friendly! Austin, Shannon, Lindsey and the new person there.”

“Love this place, great prices and even better cars. Made my trip to Seattle so much better to ride in style! Definitely planning on booking here again on my next trip here. If you're thinking about renting a vehicle from here, DO IT ! Trust me, you won't regret it.”

“The best place to live in Tacoma! The staff goes above and beyond to make the place feel like home. The location is perfect with 2 grocery stores, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Farmers market on Saturdays. Loved the rooftop lounge with amazing views of the Sound, Olympics & Rainier. Plus a garden that you can pick from. Work orders were always done quickly. Best of all the people that live there are so friendly and easy to get along with. I've made life long friendships and met my fiancé there. I credit the staff for that they are personable and make it fun to live there.”

“We have been living here for almost 5 years now. I can't believe it; time really flies. We love it. The staff is very courteous and caring. The maintenance staff, especially Adrien, are so helpful. When we submit a request, they get back and fix the issue in a very short time. For example, our overhead kitchen light went out so our kitchen was completely dark. Couldn't see to cook at all. It happened late afternoon, and Adrien was there to fix the light the next morning. So great. The complex grounds are beautiful and kept up nicely. Our mailboxes are locked up tight, so it's very safe. Plus, we're centrally located to everything you need groceries, shopping, restaurants, etc. An absolutely wonderful place to call home.”

“Got a little better manager I have known her for years. It has a lot of things to fix but not helpful very bad management and unfair treatment . I've been assaulted twice and the security guard is fake he didn't care if I was ok or not. Seattle office is not good ethier the stress here has been horrific. Told I have to move my storage and will not let me have time to do it it's the holiday time and it's closed most of the time . I need help I'm 73 and injured refused a relocation fee like everyone else got and the men I ask to help the manager and security guard said I can not use that person so I couldn't leave and was then made to get in more trouble with the court because of them.”

“My partner and I lived there for a little over two years. It was a quiet and peaceful place. We never have any major issues there, and all maintenance problems (there was fairly little) were done in a quick manner. I could talk for hours and hours about how great the maintenance man is there! He became a friend of ours very quickly and we still think about him weekly! The property manager is all pretty cool. We would definitely move back there if a bigger apartment opened up. Many thanks!”

“Don't let the bad reviews discourage you. I almost did, but I came and looked at these apartments two months ago anyway and so far have been very impressed. Management staff have always been polite and helpful. I feel extremely safe here and the security is excellent. You don't go through and doors, elevators without a fob. The apartments are spacious, modern and clean. The underground parking is well lit and everyone should know wherever you are shopping, parking your car anywhere " you should not leave valuables in your vehicle as an invite." Most individuals who write bad reviews are in general miserable. Bad news has always traveled faster than good news! I just wanted to give a positive shout out to here because just like you I still read reviews. I am happy I found this place to call home until I buy again.”
