You'll want to bring more gallons than you expect. Even the big 5s would be a good idea. We brought 7 gallons and they were full in 30 minutes, 15 of those were competed by kiddos.Apples are $0.50/lb you pick.

Just had my first visit to this wonderful place, and I can't wait to go again next year! The apples are delicious and the folks there are so friendly, you couldn't ask for a better time! Next time I'll try out their cider and see if they've got any honey! If you believe in supporting small, local agriculture and you like fall fruit this is the place for you! :D

We go every year to make cider and sometimes pick apples. This year there is no cider thanks to covid. Picking apples is a fun family time that is very inexpensive. we wandered around for an hour trying different apples and picking a few that we liked here and there. We even used the long-pole picking tool to get some pairs. When all was said and done we had 6 lb of fruit and paid $3 total for that and the entertainment. Good deal.

We love going to Bishop Orchard to pick fruit for canning. We went a couple weekends ago to get pears and will be going next weekend to pick apples. Our kids enjoy sampling a couple varieties of apples as we pick what we want in our applesauce, and some to take home to eat fresh. And the owners are very welcoming and helpful.

What a lovely afternoon! Picking apples and pears, pressing juice and having wonderful bonding time with my son/his girlfriend ! The fragrance of fresh fruits in the orchard is unforgettable!
