This was always my favorite place to go to place for t-shirts on the island and their selection has always been great. Even in June, they had items for you to purchase for year round use. However, after my last visit, I may be reconsidering. Even with the great clothing selection and prices I've never been treated like an unwanted nuisance until my last visit, which was at the end of June, 2023. The group of young ladies that were in the shop were more involved with schedule woes, gossip and putting down the decorators of the store than helping customers. They were quick to toss t-shirts at you when asked and offered very short responses to any questions. I'll definitely be checking who's in the store before going in next time.

decent inventory, very subdued place. The big negative was a douchy college kid running the register. Kinda snarky with all interactions on shirt sizes, etc..I do like my t-shirt.

I love this place. I couldn't decide which shirt I wanted, and the clerk was so friendly and patient. The t-shirts we bought are wonderful quality and we will be enjoying them for years to come.

I did an all day trip to San Juan Island back on 9/30/20 and practically stepped in most of the Friday Harbor businesses that remained open during the off season. Wandered and perused most businesses out of curiosity, wrap up my last few hours, get some walking in before queuing up at the ferry terminal. Most of the time as a solo day tripper, I was largely ignored, treated brusquely, or standoffish. Whatever, just looking people! But when I stopped in Joe Fridays Shirt Company, yes it could scream 'tourist trap', but I wanted to get a souvenir for myself and my son. We usually love hoodies and T shirts from places visited. The counter person was a standout, very welcoming and willing to answer any questions. I ended up scoring on items that were marked down for the season. Nice quality T shirts that also came with baseball caps. Whoever that saleswoman was, sincere gratitude for being a positive, friendly ambassador representing your business and community in Friday Harbor.

Joe Friday Shirt Company carries a good inventory of tourist items. Their prices are comparable to all of the other tourist shops on the island and their customer service is very good. The store has items displayed nicely with sizes and colors visible and with easy access. There is a deeply discounted sales rack placed outside by the front entrance that is loaded with a good variety of items. Across from the sales rack a few children's shirts are also discounted. Everything within the store was listed as full asking price. I was able to find a sweatshirt that I liked but unfortunately it was not available in my color. A quick check by the sales associate confirmed this.

Best shirt selection on the island, some of the items are a bit pricey but this is a tourist town. The girls are always super friendly and helpful. Always willing to open the doors to help me find the sizes I need. Our go to shop for tees when we come to San Juan.

Yes I know, it's a t-shirt shop. But who doesn't like a new shirt on holiday? My favorite? The mermaid shirt. Plenty of Island designs to choose from. Don't know what to do while your there? If you strike up a conversation with the register lady, I bet she will be kind enough to point you in the right direction.

Above the king street market. Decent prices. Not a huge selection for hoodies. I needed one and couldnt find any in my size which is either a womens XL or a mens MEdium-LArge. Lot of items were way overpriced such as jackets for 300 dollars. Dont know why its marked up so high. Only rating four stars because I got a nice ht for five bucks and the lady working was nice.

Really liked this little shop with lots to offer in souvenir apparel.T-shirt's are nice quality and priced reasonably! Very accommodating staff, as well.

I am a shopper and I look for value and price equally. This place had good designs, the clothing and articles were well made, not junk. If you are looking for something to wear or bring home as a memory this is the place to get it.

Does not take American Express. Has many designs in the color displayed and plenty of sizes. Normal process around $20 per t-shirt. Same shirts as the kayak place but without the words "kayak tours" on them.
