Worst service from any business I have gone to in my life. And nothing but excuses about why it is not their fault. They will never even try to fix their issues, of which there are several. The worst part of having to deal with them is having to wait in lines that take forever, even if there aren't many people in line. You just know that you are going to have to wait. Then, when you finally get yo the counter, you will be lucky to find out that your prescription is in fact filled and ready. When it isn't, which is half of the time, you can't speak to or complain to anyone because they are not available. They don't answer phones so you have to go to their web site, which gets you no help at all. This is just the absolute worst business I have ever experienced and they never even been apologetic about it. Horrible customer relations.

I’ve had serious issues with Freeland Rite Aid for over a year. I take the same medication every month and they never have it. I have asked and been told they would start carrying it. I’ve also noticed every time I do a call I for a refill or use the app they don’t even start your order until you physically show up.
I asked today what exactly was the best process for me and I was told calling in medications just puts you in a que of over 300 people. They won’t start them until you speak to someone. The pharmacist said the best way is to call I and speak to a person. I said thanks and got a text an hour later saying they couldn’t fill my medication and to call them. I have now been on hold over 30 minutes. There has to be a better way for those of us who are chronically ill.
I hope this helps someone and they can get better results by calling in. I’m beyond frustrated.

This pharmacy is completely dysfunctional. After telling me that they received no faxes for my refill, had them sent multiple times, they magically "found" the faxes they kept telling me they never received. Lines out the door, rude pharmacy techs. Mail order is a pain in the ass but 1000 times better than this business.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. If I could give it a minus number, I'd give it a minus 10. I've been using this Rite Aid Pharmacy for about 8 months - only because it is the sole pharmacy in South Whidbey Island. Customer service is horrible; I have frequently had to stand in line for 45 minutes or more; no one picks up the phone when I try to call; I've had to wait a week or more for crucial medications to be filled, though they were submitted by the doctor on time; I've been lied to, told that my doctor had not submitted a prescription when the doctor's records showed clearly that my doctor had submitted it; I've been told - repeatedly! - that a prescription would be ready on a certain date, only to be informed, after that 45 minute wait in line, that the prescription was not ready, but if I wanted to wait another hour, the pharmacy could have it ready. I have spoken to the Rite Aid store manager, who just shrugged as if to say, "Too bad, " and I've spoken to the Rite Aid store manager, who informed me that the store and the pharmacy are different entities, and that the store has no jurisdiction over the pharmacy. What, then, can I do? I'm told that my only recourse is to somehow contact the corporate offices, but the manager has no idea how I might do this. South Whidbey Island has a significant elder population, and I am often standing in line with people in walkers, wheelchairs, canes - frail people who certainly should not be forced to stand for long periods of time, especially during a pandemic! I'm going to seek mail order prescriptions, and urge you to avoid this pharmacy entirely if you can.

This place is HORRIBLE! The pharmacy doesn't have your prescription filled 50% of the time, even if they've received the order several days ahead of time. You only find this out after you've stood in line for 15+ minutes. You are told to come back and that you won't need to stand in line again. When you come back and go up to the counter, you have other customers accusing you of cutting in line and the cashier doesn't back you up, so you have to defend yourself. I asked to speak to the manager of the store and he acted like he could give a rats ass about my experience.

Ever Since " TOM left this Pharmacy couple month's ago this place has fallen apart. You knew what to expect, scripts were on time, front desk was not disorganized. NOW. the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.. Different Pharmacist almost daily. Some are Extremely RUDE and Quick with you. To much in a hurry !!! THE Manager of this store fly's by the seat of her pants and has NO idea how to Organize a store. Appeasing all the Complaints.. and doing NOTHING ABOUT IT.. Ordering Medication's to fill is very much Slacking and Dangerous for Patient's. You never know what to Expect with this store. This all fall's on the Management of this Store. PAM F.. GET THIS STORE IN ORDER LIKE IT USED TO BE..

The worst pharmacy ever. They lose orders and a prescription can take 3 days or more to be filled. This is coupled with rude pharmacy staff. I am 70 years old with white hair and they insist on carding me if I but beer.

Worst pharmacy ever. There's always a huge line from the pharmacy to the front of the store and it seems like there's an hour minimum wait time. I waited once in the line and by the time I got to the front, they said they didn't have my prescription, even though my doctor had just filled it the day before. I had my doctor switch my prescriptions over to Island Drug in Clinton and it was SO much better. Island Drug called me when my prescription was ready and they have a drive-thru so I got my prescriptions immediately instead of waiting all day.

Typical rude South Whidbey employees/owners. Anyone who's ever lived most anywhere else in the world and then moved to south Whidbey Island will tell you local stores personnel including owners are extremely rude. I've noticed that they appear to be looking for almost trying to create any reason they can be rude. This Rite Aid in Freeland Washington is no exception. Never had any problems in stores before I moved to the south Whidbey area now problems with local stores employees and owners are constant. I try and avoid all stores in the area if I can, it's that bad and I'm not the only one.

The pharmacy is understaffed. There is constantly a 30 minute wait in line. The staff is competent but overworked.

I would give this store a zero if I could. Always long lines to get scripts . Currently 10 in front of me. Usually after waiting you are told to come back in half hour as your script that they received this morning still isn't ready at 4pm.

South Whidbey only has 2 pharmacies, Island drug and Rite Aid. Island drug is the absolute worst pharmacy ever. I have found Rite Aid to be much better. The lines are super long but the quality of service I have received has been fantastic. i see people in the reviews saying the pharmacy staff is rude and I have experienced one rude older woman who works in the pharmacy but everyone else I have found to be great. I will deal with the long lines to avoid going to island drug by house. So I would recommend this pharmacy from my personal experience.

This pharmacy is a joke. They think some idiot at the front check-out station blasting HELLO at your back upon entering is good, friendly customer service. The pharmacy is beyond incompetent and arrogant. The way you're treated is insulting and the mistakes don't ever stop. Manager...no need to respond. You have responded to ALL THE OTHER COMPLAINTS yet haven't done a damn thing to fix things at your location.

SO SLOW!!! Ten people in line for the pharmacy and only one register open! Then when the line reached the front door the clerk kicked it into high gear and ran both registers by herself! Got an average of two people per minute then!
