Holmes Harbor Golf Club is a popular golf course on Whidbey Island that offers stunning views and an enjoyable golfing experience. According to recent reviews, the course is in excellent condition, with well-maintained greens, clean sand traps, and a few challenging par-3 holes that test players' wedge and short-iron skills. The course is described as short but not easy, providing opportunities to work on ball striking and course management. Reviewers praise the friendly staff and the availability of rental clubs, though the GPS on the golf carts may not always function properly. One long-time resident of the course notes that it is the best it has been in years, with the majority of the bunkers clean and weeds removed. While the weekend rate of $65+ may seem high, the reviewer acknowledges that it is the only course on the south end of the island and the busiest during the summer months. Overall, Holmes Harbor Golf Club is a well-maintained and enjoyable course that offers stunning views and a fun challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Many reviewers recommend playing the course, especially during the summer months when the conditions are at their best.
Really fun and well kept course. Good variety of holes and shots to hit. Staff super friendly.

Golfed 18 holes. Course needs work, bunkers in poor shape. Lots of mosquitoes so bring bug spray. Pros: price, decent golf carts, and available tee times/not busy.

For a small privately managed golf course open to the public this is Great. It's short with narrow fairways with a number of hazards so it can be challenging. And, it is fun. The green fees include a cart. I give it high marks. It's not a expensive but you get a good return on your green fees in playing fun
