“I love this pet store. I have been taking my Belgian Malinois in for treats since he was a little baby. The staff are so understanding that he’s in training mode! Today I even noticed that they were all avoiding making eye contact because they could tell he was having a reactive kind of day. It made shopping so much easier that everyone was respectful of his space and needs.”
“The owners are super helpful and knowledgeable about healthy choices for your fur babies and feathered friends. My chickens won't even eat the feed from another store and are incredibly healthy. My pup and son love the treats available as well, we always feel welcome and look forward to feed run days.”

“We really like this place. Second time coming in today and we got a decently large container of raw cat food, a real fur rat toy (hilarious and my cats love it) and the catnip spray by the register (okay this stuff was crazy potent, cats also loved it) and it only put us out about $36 total so I found that very reasonable, which really drives me to come back and see what else they’ll get in stock.One of the employees at the register was also quite helpful to me in suggesting use of the raw food, which is new for us. She mentioned the raw food could be returned, even opened, if it didn’t work out for us which I appreciate from a business. Everyone was also helpful as we browsed. Overall, we left very pleased and will be back.”
“My home base is Lucky Dog Tacoma, which I love! This branch is much bigger but they still don't have a ton of cat stuff here...I get it, it's for 'lucky dogs'.... But we have a million cats.
It is a little dark in here! I don't know why. However... Great staff... They went and grabbed raw chicken for me out of the back. Lots of parking. Recommend!!”

“Found my best friend at the shelter. Flora was recommended by our shelter assistant, as the best dog for our quiet but busy lifestyle and she was definitely right. Flora has become the sweetest member of our family. She was very scared at first but within a couple of hours she warmed up to us and became such a blessing to our lives. She is so loving and very intelligent and seems to have a six sense already to relax when we are in stress mode. She gets cuddly and gives kisses to change my mood from stressed to chilled in minutes. She loves her new toys and her new Buddy next door as well. She is having so much fun exploring her new surroundings and seems to really enjoy cuddling on the couch, going for rides in the car, as well as cuddling in bed with me at night night time. Couldn't ask for a better companion. Thanks to all the staff at the Humane Society...you made a perfect match.”

“I always bring Myster with me when I go in to pick up his food. He is well behaved, and the staff are always friendly, aware of his size, breed, and courteous. I had asked one staff member where his brand of dog food (Fat Dogs) was located as we couldn't find it, and she quickly walked toward us to take us down another row, at which point he started barking at her as if to say 'not so fast'. I did apologize for his barking at her, explaining that to him, she rushed up to us, and he was protecting without being aggressive. She didn't acknowledge, just shied away from us the rest of the time in the store. The rest of our visit to this location was great. He met another dog, other customers who asked to pet him, commented on how well behaved he was.I have observed that most of the staff approach customers slowly when they have their pets with them, no matter the size or breed. I'm sure she didn't mean any harm as she was busy, and I hope she is fine, but that she will think twice before approaching someone else in a hurry. Even small dogs protect their owners.Thank you, I love shopping at this Petco.”
