I was towed to the nearest mechanic after my car shut off on I-5 in Tacoma. Immediately these guys made me feel at ease and I trusted I was in good hands. They troubleshot my situation and resolved it super quickly. I highly, highly recommend. They turned a crappy day around and left me feeling nothing but grateful.

My radiator and thermostat went bad on my way to Vancouver. My car got towed to CTL at about 1:30 pm . They had me back on the road with a new radiator and thermostat by 4:30 .they did that at a very fair price and I have had no issues since.

Took my vehicle in because it was burning oil, they told me it was just leaking oil and proceeded to do 700$ in repairs that did not fix the problem. The kicker is the car is under warranty, yet all the repairs that were done weren't covered by the warranty. Fast-forward a month later and my car is still burning so I decided to take it to the dealer and have them do the proper test. I wouldn't recommend this shop at all unless it's for minor repairs.

Everything was as explained and on-time and budget. Great communication and followup. We need more businesses like this in our community. When was the last time you had your car fixed and it was a wonderful experience? If it has been too long, try this place.

I have been going to Hawk for years, after a friend told me about him and I took my car for new brakes (the dealer quoted me an outrageous amount.) Hawk looked at my brakes and said I just needed new pads. I have been so impressed with his honesty and speed of repairs! I am almost sad I got a new car that hasn't needed repairs!

Just called. A guy answered without saying the company name. I took my vehicle that went Hawk was the owner. Now I'm not sure about these guys. I asked how many mechanics there were and he asked me why was I asking him that. I don't think I want to do business with them

Excellent! The.owmer is straight forward and honest. He had my car repaired the next day. No long wait. We truly appreciate having a shop like this close by. It's our go to auto shop. The dealership told me they could not get my car in for over a month. And we had just bought a car from them. Very grateful for JAR!

I recently had a family member have their motor replaced at Hawk's and recommend I take my car there to have it looked at, we have been to Hawks many times over the years but this was our first time since the new owner took over.After diagnosing my car I was told I needed to replace my motor, was given a quote for it, and told I would have to pick up the motor from his seller and deliver it to him, so I rented a truck and did. A week passes and I hadn't heard anything so I called and was told the engine they had fully installed (the day after I dropped it off) was no good but I would also probably need a new starter. I asked if they had tested the motor and was told they did not, they fully installed and did diagnostics on everything but the new motor until I had called. Luckily, they did with the 2nd motor they received and sent another bad one back.They went with a different company, and that one worked and after a month, I could ger my car back. After paying far more than the initial quote (which he told me it could have been more due to them "taking all that time to install the bad motor" that he did not test or diagnose til the last option), I was at least happy to have my car back and running!After about a month of having my car back and less than 300 miles put on the motor, the idle in my car was rough so I checked under the hood. I paid for an oil change on the motor they installed and was told not to worry about an oil change for a few months, but found out there was NO oil in my car at all. (No leaks either)My family member has had their new motor for a little over 6 months, and has not put that many miles on it. Recently it started acting strange and lights were turning on so they check the oil to find it was very low. They brought it back to Hawk's where, yet again, was told they need a new motor and the one installed was out of warranty.Be weary when going here with any bigger fixes needed!
