I don't like doing negative reviews so I will split the difference. I have to say that this was one of my favorite quick stop places in Ferndale. I have limited myself to going very few places and for very few reasons over the course of this pandemic because I have a high risk spouse. I have twice encountered a mask-less person in this store. The first time, the person was mask-less but walking around covering his mouth with some sort of covering but not his nose. He was also invading myself and had to asked to step back. When I rudely, (I take responsibility for that) pointed out that he wasn't covering his nose, he vindictively said "I'll just take it off then". I won't say I was nice, but I did leave until he completed his transaction, moved far away and then completed mine. The second time, another maskless person, got out of his car and when I was going to enter the store was standing at the counter mask-less. I understand this is not on the clerk, they offer and if the person refuses, they are not going to insist. I take responsibility for my being rude to the mask-less people, and I understand the accusation that "they" weren't doing enough was offensive to these hard-working young ladies. I just want to say that I will return when all this is over, and I will apologize for any misplaced anger or frustration but for now I have to say as long as it's possible to encounter mask-less folks in the store, I will comply as the clerk, ask me to do, take my business elsewhere, stock up instead of making small trips, check my attitude, and pray for an end to all of this soon, where I retrieve I equanimity with humanity.
