Exactly what I wrote to Management: "I got a haircut at the Ferndale, WA location. This is my normal spot to get haircuts, and has been for the last 7 years.
Usually the staff is friendly and detail-oriented. They always check the notes and do a great job.
Unfortunately, today I had the exact opposite experience. The stylist was friendly, but did not read the notes and proceeded to give me a confused haircut. (I wear a very normal haircut and haven't changed it for years.) She scattered my part and mussed my hair around before starting with clippers, which she was very abusive with. The whole haircut felt abusive. She hit me over and over with the clippers and then when cutting the top, she hit me hard with the comb each time she gathered my hair. She hit me in the eye twice, and I still have hair in my eye while writing this four hours later. She hit me in the neck with her scissor handles repeatedly while combing my hair. When she trimmed the top of my hair, she didn't read the notes at all and proceeded to trim 1/4" off the ends, when it needed to be cut by 1-1/2" or more. She cut my hair incorrectly (possibly because she started off by scattering my part) and my hair is still much too long on top, but I wanted to leave so badly that I just paid and left. "
Management contacted me and basically said told me they didn't care. I won't be returning.
Overall Half of the Stylists are fine. Half are bad and lazy. If management had been up to the task this would be a 3-4 star review. As it stands now, I feel somewhere between insulted and robbed. I'll happily pay $10 more to go somewhere that cares about customers at all.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE GREAT CLIPS FERNDALE LOCATION FOR HAIR CUTS!! I MAKE A SPECIAL TRIP TO THIS LOCATION EVERYTIME BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT:) THE STAFF IS KIND N FRIENDLY N THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB..SPECIALLY THE AWESOME YOUNG LADY I GO TO NAMED JESS:) SHES THE BEST!!! I ALWAYS LEAVE FEELING TRANSFORMED, LIKE A NEW PERSON WITH MY AWESOME HAIRCUT THAT ONLY SHE KNOWS HOW TO DO:) SHE KNOWS MY HAIR TYPE N STYLE N ALWAYS GETS IT RIGHT! THANKS JESS:) KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB:) HOPE YOUR BOSS SEES THIS N GIVES YOU A GOOD RECOGNITION;) ILL KEEP COMING BACK JUST CUS OF YOUR GREAT TALENT:)

First visit to this location. Chose because they took walk-ins, had online check-in, and everyone else was closed on Sunday morning lol. The stylist seemed a little stern and scary at first when we checked in. Granted, I am easily scared, but still...haha. Haven't had a haircut since before covid so I had trouble explaining what I wanted (basic chin length bob with layers, but not a "karen" cut...can you tell I don't get out much?). She went abracadabra and snippity snip, and OMG I LOVE it. In and out super fast, and I don't think I've ever had cuter layers. Afterward we visited friends who have a 6 & a 3 year old who've never seen me without long hair. When I walked in, both kids yelled "I LIKE YOUR HAIR!!!" Granted, the 3 year old probably yelled it because the 6 year old yelled it, but you know what? Little kids don't lie. Great Clips earned the toddler seal of approval XD I'm so pleased with my cut and will likely be back. :)

Asked for an undercut and got weed whacker coconut instead... results were so poor and embarrassing I immediately gave myself a buzz when I got home because there was no way I was willing to go to work my hair botched so horribly...

If the salon hours say open till 5 and you stop taking customers at 445 then change your sign to closed and lock your doors.

They completely disregarded my girl friends requests and hacked up her hair in a horrific way. Then they had the gall to call me a scammer and other insults. The most rude, disrespectful, entitled hair cutters I've ever had the displeasure of paying. Spend a little more on gas and go somewhere else.

Credit card scamming! When I got home, I found out that they had added an additional 36% on to the total. Contacted Great Clips but have not heard back.

This was my first visit to this location as I usually go to a different location. On a side note: If I lived closer, this would be my main location for haircuts. The stylist listened to me about how my hair is normally cut. I have really thin and fine hair that is in a a bob style cut so it can be a challenge cutting my hair as it has to be dry cut meaning no water. The stylist was very friendly and professional. My haircut was done correctly exactly how I told her.
