Ferndale Ace Hardware is a locally owned and operated store committed to being "the Helpful Place" in the community. This hardware store has a great selection and will practically have anything needed for a house or project, serving as a great spot for quick pick-ups of those hard-to-find pieces. While it may not carry as much as larger chains and can be a little pricey, customers are glad it is close by. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and eager to help find solutions, providing a comfortable and rewarding experience. Their helpfulness heavily outweighs expectations, and they consistently come through in finding small, obscure parts. As an added bonus, the store is vocally and unapologetically proactive in protecting itself and its customers from theft. It is a nice alternative to the big-box stores, with employees who are a lot nicer than they used to be, making it a valued part of the Ferndale community.
Needed supplies in a hurry. Closest store nearby from my location had everything I needed. Service was great.

They have a lot on hand but not as much as the larger chains. They are great for quick pick ups but a lit pricey. I am glad there are a few close by when we have projects.
