I highly recommend Wellspring. I’ve had back problems for years and, more recently, sciatica. Laney’s depth of knowledge and experience is impressive, and my weekly visits plus her recommended exercises have resolved my pain issues as no other PT therapists had been able to. The office staff is also very professional and friendly, especially Alexis.

I only ended up coming here for my first PT visit and I only worked with one person for the evaluation visit which my rating is directly about. I had some troubles with my experience, obviously, but there were three things that influenced my decision to find a new Physical Therapy (they are in Des Moines but wonderful!).The first reason was an interaction that happened early in our session. She went over my medical record and asked about my anxiety and then made a comment about how I seemed really anxious right then. When I laughed and told her no she followed up with wondering if I had medical anxiety, which I don't. Telling people how "they feel" is never a good idea. I can see a situation where she may have wanted to check in on how I was feeling and she should have just asked. Instead, she came off as rude and judgy which really ruined all the excitement that I had been feeling about finally being cleared for PT.The second was multiple miscommunication areas with the person I was working with. It didn't seem like she would listen fully to the questions that I was asking. Sometimes she would just start speaking before I finished or she would say an answer that was unrelated to the actual question I asked. At one point in our session, I had to interrupt her to let her know that she wasn't actually answering my question. It became really frustrating for me to try to communicate with her because I would get confused about the answers that she was giving me and no longer wanted to try.The third was that my PT did not seem very patient-oriented. When I tried to ask more questions about variety, different protocols the answers seemed pretty dismissive. I got the impression that they had a very standard protocol and patients were expected to just do that instead of being part of the process of deciding (which my current PT does) from options what exercises should be part of my protocol. There is a reason personalized medicine is a thing and it was disappointing to not see anything that pointed to that model.

I was treated for lyphedema . The therapist Laney ONelli forgot I was allergic to latex and wrapped my legIn lstex. I'M still not healed after 10 months. Been hell. The worst part is her blaming me for not telling her about allergy. Woops, it was written in her notebook. Thenin note. Then she said I didn't follow her

Wellspring PT goes above and beyond to care for their patients. The friendly and helpful attitude of the front staff makes scheduling appointments a breeze. The hour long 1:1 time with my therapist and clinic director Laney has been unparalleled to any other PT clinic I’ve received treatment at. I began seeing her for ultrasound treatment to resolve a clogged milk duct. She was willing to try different therapies to help me on my breast feeding journey and has since helped me to rehab my entire body (especially low back) post partum. To say my quality of life has improved since being treated by Laney is an understatement. She really cares about helping her patients find ways to minimize pain and live their best lives! PT will now be my first line of treatment in the future. I can’t say enough great things about the therapists and staff at Wellspring.

All the Physical Therapy and Office Staff did an outstanding job! After my round of PT I feel 150% better. My first appt I was not in good shape and in extreme pain. After my round of PT appts I have graduated with hardly any pain at all. Always will have minimal pain but I can live with that! Plus I can get up from my chair a lot better!

Absolutely loved working with Christine and Jess! They both helped me work past my injuries and regain the muscles I had lost. The clinic manager even stepped in for a session to make sure I got the treatment I needed. Definitely my go-to recommendation for PT.

Was so excited to find a therapist to care for my phone remix until she wrapped my leg in latex. She forgot I was extremely allergic. Long story short , I can't get in or out of car (been 3 months) lost independence . plus the pain. My leg is still covered with itchy welts. Then she asked why I didn't follow her instuctions. Which she also forgot. The time I was under her care was only 3 weeks so I kinda scared for her other patients. Lahey O'Neill is not good.

I have seen multiple therapists here. The experience has always been positive, and a worthwhile investment of your time and money. They take you where you're at, and challenge you to take the next small step toward health and wellness. Trustworthy business, and super nice people.
