Had first ever appt today 10/18/2024 at 12:30pm for my 2 dogs...came in at 12:48pm. Woman with gray/white hair (short haircut) told me they cannot accept the dogs because there is a 15 minute window from the appt only, and so would now need to be rescheduled; they appeared to not be attending to any dog grooming or other retail customers at the time, even.... So that to me, was a demonstration of their level of customer service. So instead of the business potentially gaining new ongoing/long term local customers, from my spouse and I, they have motivated us to seek out and support other local businesses elsewhere, for similar (and probably) better service.

Great staff, tucked out of the way. The patrons are all very nice people as far as I have met. There is ample parking, and the shopping center is quite nice as well

Great place to wash $$$$$ everything inherent is atleast 60% above cost plus freight. New employees are very kind call N and D and get their product info packages as well as for every other distributor so you can justify the price knowledge is power plus money for the messenger so you don't feel like shooting the messenger when all they say is I don't know I think . The companies have so much to give stores free, it is like fee school industry training employees be proactive you might make management status over longer more seasoned employees.

I hate rating this place so low truthfully but this is a customer based store which im one that totally agrees with the saying "customers are NOT always right" but i also have worked in the customer service industry my whole work career which has been 19 yrs and I'm a worker/manager/coowner that believes in honoring what is displayed by the store if its on the store window on the stores website under the Google maps about page and abiding by those guidelines because the only people that can put information up in those places are the people that either own or manage the stores which means that's how they want their store to be ran. Weve visited this location 3 times before the last time going in and those 3 times were awesome there was a younger starwberry blonde working and she was amazing, helpful, nice, patient, knowledgeable and helped clip our pups nails and he's one of those it takes three to four people to hold him and the whole time he screams as if he is being tortured it can be crazy and weve tried everything to help him move past whatever trumatizing event he went through before he was ours but truthfully I dont know if he will ever get there but she was awesome quick and as soon as we started she was done and his nails were so much better anyway we started buying our food there to show our appreciation so every time we came in we spent well over $300 and would have gladly kept coming until the last time we came in so I made sure to check the guidelines which I saw on a Friday they closed at 8 last dogs were taken at 730 which it takes about 15 20 minutes to wash our poochy and if there was someone new that wasn't good with nails then we would have skipped the nails. My hubby got home right at 659, June and I hoped in the car and it takes 17 minutes to get there I walked in the store honestly i didnt know what time it was because my phone was dying and i had left it charging at our house but i figured it was before 730 so after walking I saw a different younger gal behind the register that had hair that was to shoulder semi wavey and dark I asked if we could get into the self serve bath and after asking the yound lady out of no where a customer to the side of me not a worker someone I wasn't looking at wasn't asking , didn't know her but for some reason she thought she had a right to answer which I should have put her in her place and said what I was thinking and asked her if she worked there and if not to mind herself because what I was doing and asking had nothing to do with her and to take her entitled self who had just got her dog washed and move along because I never ask for her input and nor would I have ever asked for her input because that's right she didn't work there so stop eavesdropping and go live your intrusive life elsewhere not near me but I'm working on not being confrontational so because of that I felt like the gal working there responded the way she did which was, "We close at 8 and all the baths are dirty so I'm sorry." which I said "Okay but it it states you take your last customers at 730" which in return she said "sorry the baths are all dirty." We would have washed our dirty dog in one of the baths we didnt care but at that moment i didnt know the time of day I didn't have my phone to check and I was frustrated so instead of asking for the time from the worker which would have proved I had every right to wash my dog I decided to walk out to my hubby and ask for his phone which after looking it was 726 which I was going to walk back in but my hubby reminded no confrontation and calmly told me "if thats how she wants to treat customers well they just lost us because we don't know when this girl works and we don't want to deal with someone that seems to allow customers to answer for her and obviously doesn't want to run the business the way the owner and manager want the store ran so unfortunately well take our services and money else." The situation sucks!

Update: I went back to get my dog's nails trimmed today and had a wonderful experience. My dog was attended to immediately and because of my bad experience last time, there was no charge for today's service.
I started bringing my dog here to get his nails trimmed recently. There's is no appointment necessary and the first time I went was fantastic. There's was no wait and the young man trimmed my dog's nails and explained everything he was doing and why as I helped hold my dog. However, I just went back today and the woman lead us straight back to a tub and she clipped one of my dog's back nails and said she would be right back. She left my dog hooked up and disappeared for 20 minutes. My dog got really stressed and I had no place to sit. So, I unhooked him, got him to jump down from the tub and lead him to the car. As I was putting my dog in the car I saw the woman standing around by the register. So I went back in and she didn't even remember leading us back to the tub for a nail trim. I don't know what the hell is going on there, but I doubt I'll waste my time going back.

Yesterday 5/4 I took my Penny to Soggy Doggy for a bath and to cut out some knots in her hair. I was greeted at the door and showed my way to a wash tub. A girl by the name of Brayden asked if I needed anything, I asked her about getting rid of knots on my dogs ears. She was more than helpful and very nice to talk with. She showed me a few tricks that were very helpful. This is now my “goto” place for all my dogs needs. Thank you Brycen for your help! ??

Incredible store. More than a store, a place where you can talk to experts about your fur baby and get advice for a path forward. Hands down the best specialty store I have ever been too. You get what you pay for here. I highly recommend

This is a decent dog groomer, got my dog the full bath and haircut deal and the spritzer and all that and she came out looking and smelling great and seemed to be happy about the experience. Haircut was great and it's a bit more expensive here but worth the extra attention they give your dog. Oh yeah my dog is a 9 pound Yorkshire terrier whose very feisty at times. They handled my dog well. Only complaint is the price of stuff in the store, way over priced, spent over $40 on a 4-5' leash that my dog hates, she didn't much like they're overpriced treats either. As for grooming id recommend them though.
