Greg is the best of best customer representatives I have ever experienced. He is as good as Julee whom I gave a top review to in the last time. I can imagine one day he would be promoted so this Fred Meyer store would be even better than now. I always want to thank him, Greg, very calm, kind and excellent guy.

Complaint and Description of employee: Long dark brown curly hair, a balled lip piercing, black square shaped glasses and about 5'5 and appear to be female! Hello there! I recently, around noon today went to Fred Meyers to do my usual shopping. I went ahead to self checkout today and had planned to use two different payment methods at the self checkout. So, I went ahead and scanned the items that I wanted on my first card and paid for them using the scanner. I put the scanner down after scanning the items that I wanted on the first payment method I intended on using. After, as I was getting ready to scan the other items, the cashier, was staring at my screen trying to observe what I have scanned so far and they very loudly said "it looks like you have only scanned 7 items". And I mentioned to them that "I am using another payment method along with the one I just previously used". After that, they watched every other thing that I scanned for the second time and it felt uncomfortable. I could see if I was trying to make an exit and trying to leave with un-scanned items, but I wasn't at all! I also decided not to put any of my items in a fredmeyer bag and they mentioned that I was supposed to? (I had my own reusable bags in my car) I've just never heard of that!!

So far I have no complaints about this store. It's clean, I find everything I need and I never have to wait long to check out with a person.

Fred Meyer is up to their old tricks again. Got home and was missing my eggs and my deli ham. Then I looked in the bag that should have had 6 deli pieces of fried drumsticks. There was only 5. Looked on the sticker on the bag it charged me for 6.

I like to shop at Fred Meyer and I expect the highest quality so I was very disappointed when I started peeling my russet potatoes to find they were probably out of storage and there was not even one unblemished potatoes. I have had better potatoes from Walmart and Winco. !! However I will continue to shop there but may buy produce elsewhere.

I've shopped at Fred Meyers 40 years and the past 5 years I've watched a wonderful neighborly store turn into a deceptive and impractical business. What I mean is the advertising, whether online, in the paper or in store, is not what it appears!! The consumer has to pay close attention to what the actual price of an item is at the register! Otherwise, if you miss out on having a "digital card" the store doesn't honor the much advertised in bold print! Assuming you have a smart phone and assuming you want to fill it up with a digital app and assuming one knows how to use the scan code to access the sale price...then and only then do you get the savings. Otherwise, you've wasted your gas and time shopping with no savings. Not to mention how poor of a wireless connection there always is at all their stores! Another example of deceptive advertising practices..today, near the entry door are bins of "sale items"! Quaker Oats cereal only $2.29! I brought it to the register, it rung up $3.29! I questioned the price and was told I had to buy 5 cereals to get the price!!! What?!! I even took a picture of the sign & still didn't see the fine print! And what good does our Loyal Customer # do if we can't receive the full sale price? I've talked to so many people who find Fed Meyer practices quite dishonest and disrespecting to Loyal customers who've supported them for decades. It's quite insulting and manipulating and I'm done shopping at a business with zero integrity. I'm hoping they will go back to honest business practices and respect their neighborhood that supports them.

Long time fan of this chain. I wish they were in the Midwest. The produce is always well stocked as is the rest of the departments. For that I'm always grateful. The cashiers additionally have always been a level above. Wish I could say that about cashiers at nearly any other grocery chain. But. Yes there's a BUT. The men's restroom is possibly months late in any proper cleaning. Filthy. The store has instituted something I'm not surprised, a lock to deter junkies and thieving. Fine. But having to go means I had to go find someone to give me there code to gain entry. Once in I was pretty disturbed when I see filth that is not something that should be. Management surely has labor and cost issues, but keeping the store and all its customer viewed regions should be on the priority list.

Zif at the seafood department found it necessary to deny my gf and I the "$5 lobster tails, while supplies lasts".....he gave us a limit of 10 regardless that we both had a Fred Meyer app account. Who died and made him God? Even after I verified at checkout and was assured by the supervisor that I can get more because there were lots.....Zif still hesitated on bagging the remainder 7 for me. He wouldn't even check if there's more in the freezer....when I knew there were, via master count by the supervisor.....it was even closing time, at least for the seafood department, so shouldn't Zif be pushing these 1day sales? Is he trying to prevent Fred Meyers from making sales? We were ready to buy 100 lobster tails for our friends' upcoming weekend wedding BBQ.....was trying to spend money locally.......but because my gf and my ethnicity, we were discriminated? That's how it felt....... It would've been great if Fred Meyers were able to allow us to treat our friends after these years of pandemic hardship with a lobster tail or two......it's not every day that we get a wedding, definitely not every day that we have money to spend on lobster tails. Zif saw to it that we were denied of any happiness. He should not be a face at Fred Meyers.
