I recently visited Liberty Tax for tax preparation and had a very disappointing experience. I feel compelled to share this to inform potential customers.
First, I was not informed about the cost of their services upfront. After my taxes were prepared, I was shocked to be billed approximately $500.00. This was far more than I expected!
Despite my concerns, I provided my payment information, trusting that Liberty Tax would handle my tax return properly. Unfortunately, this trust was misplaced. After they submitted my return to the IRS, I found out that they failed to include my payment details. This oversight resulted in penalties and interest charges from the IRS, adding to my financial stress.
I believe Liberty Tax's lack of transparency regarding fees and their negligence in submitting crucial payment details to the IRS are unacceptable. While I am not seeking a refund, I hope that by sharing my experience, others will be better informed and can avoid similar issues.
Overall, my experience with Liberty Tax was highly unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend their services. I urge potential customers to be cautious and ensure they get a clear understanding of all costs upfront and confirm that all necessary information will be correctly submitted to the IRS.

☆☆ We have been coming here for about 8 years now and are so thankful for the expertise and knowledge always demonstrated! Taxes are high anxiety but Jennifer makes it easier to get through! We had been to other places before but ever since coming to Liberty on Pac Hwy, we'll never go anywhere else. We have recently moved out of the area and we still send our taxes here! Our sincere thanks to the wonderful owner and her staff!

If I could give them zero stars I would! I have been a loyal customer for years. HOWEVER, this year I was blindsided by Steven and the manager!Steven offered me the deepblue card and made it sound like a throwaway card after you e used up your money on it. This is not true!!!! It's their bank!!! They sign you up for a whole new bank account with fees without telling you! Without showing you the screen!Then when you confront them about it, they get extremely defensive! Gee I wonder why??? Stealing much??You see, Liberty filed for bankruptcy in 2023. This bank that they push on people with hidden fees is paying off THEIR DEBT!!! ALSO NOTE THAT PART OF THEIR DEAL FOR FILING BANKRUPTCY, IS THAT THEY CAN AND WILL NO LONGER STAND BEHIND ANY MISTAKES THEY MAKE!!! YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE NOT THEM!!!Go elsewhere. Go somewhere that cares about you and can actually stand behind their work and own up to mistakes! Go somewhere that won't lie to you!Feel free to Google Liberty and bankruptcy and read up!Let Liberty pay for their mistakes, let them go out of business!!!!

Jennifer put my mind at ease. Highly recommended. Very helpful and straightforward. At first, I was very concerned starting this process but Jennifer was a great help and answered every question I had. Very straightforward with the process and cost. Liberty tax is a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone who needs help.The cost is a bit pricey, but that is outweighed by the efficiency, professionalism and the comfort of knowing your taxes are being prepared legally and with the most current changes.

Our Professional experience through Liberty tax in Federay Way, Wa. With VICKI EBERHART was great . She was very thorough and took her time as she navigated through the system asking and answering questions. She is kind and helps the tax thing be less stressful . The tax pros all work hard together which seemed to help us getting to the goal of completing our taxes for the year 2023. Thank you Vicki for your assistance. Michael and Cindy Jones.

The day I went I just got off of work an was sick as a dog for the past couple of days before I filed...I walked in feeling like I would be press'D into answering outta bounds questions an had to put up with shhh that had nothing to do with anything...NOPE total opposite STEVE being a cool smoove OG got down,he did a slow is smoove an smoove is fast, he kept it real I was outta there in about an hour...ohhh an tha BLESSINGS was nice too...RESPECT OG ?
