Our daughter attended La Petite for 2 years in the toddler classes and absolutely loved it! Very caring staff, engaging activities everyday, learning about days of the week, weather, their friends, outdoor activities and more. The teachers are very prompt with responses and accommodating of personal choices.Overall, highly recommend this daycare!

Title: Extremely Disappointed with La Pitite's Poor Customer ServiceRating: ★☆☆☆☆I've visited La Pitite at both branches in Federal Way, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Despite being informed of potential availability soon, I've been met with a complete lack of follow-up and unprofessionalism from their staff. After patiently waiting for their call as promised, I received no communication whatsoever. Upon reaching out, I was informed of a waitlist at one branch and told to expect vacancies around March 22nd at the other. However, despite assurances of a callback, I never received one.Feeling increasingly frustrated, I decided to contact them today. Sadly, my interaction with Shannon, who I believe works there, was utterly disappointing. Not only did she sound rude, but she abruptly hung up on me, providing no opportunity for me to express my concerns or ask questions. It's evident that customer satisfaction is not a priority for La Pitite. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I have no intention of returning to this establishment. La Pitite's lack of communication, unprofessional behavior, and poor customer service have completely tarnished my perception of this chain. It's truly disheartening to see such a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. Avoid this place if you value your time and expect even basic levels of courtesy and professionalism.

From the moment our eldest son started at La Petite Academy at just 3 months old, to the many days our 2-year-old and 6-month-old boys have spent there since, our family's experience has been nothing short of wonderful. It's with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to this incredible center, a place that has felt like home to our children. The warmth, care, and personalized attention each child receives here are truly remarkable. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to create a nurturing environment that fosters learning, creativity, and the development of social skills in a way that is both engaging and fun. Our 2-year-old has blossomed into a curious, happy, and sociable little person, thanks in no small part to the loving guidance and stimulating activities provided at La Petite Academy. For any new families considering childcare options in the area, we cannot recommend La Petite Academy highly enough. The center's commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and enriching space for children is evident in everything they do. Our boys have thrived under their care, and while we are moving on due to logistical reasons, the memories and friendships we've made here will always hold a special place in our hearts.Thank you, La Petite Academy, for being such a positive and impactful presence in our children's early years. You will be dearly missed!

I would recommend this daycare to anyone in the area. The teachers are observant and caring, and the management worked with us to make a schedule that suited our needs. It was always easy to add or take away a day if need be. The app they use to update parents on naps, eating, and activities is easy to use and provides much peace of mind.

I am currently sitting in the parking lot on the other side of the La Petite playground. The teachers repeatedly are shouting commands at the children. "Stop this!" "Don't ever do that again!" "No!" Lots of "NO!" one lady just this guttural booming voice at one kid for not getting in line fast enough for her. Just belting at the children, over things that are very normal for a child in their age range. I felt the hostility even from my car on the other side of the fence.Take my observation as you will just thought it was important to share.

Don’t bother calling them. Look elsewhere and save your time. They will ask you unnecessary questions only to tell you they don’t have any openings until December. Why bother asking the age of child, days of care, etc. only to be denied?I thought I read many great reviews but I guess they’re fake.I rather take my money elsewhere and put it into a trustworthy and honest place.Just the interaction and voice alone of the people I spoke with really tells you the level of professionalism. I would be worried about my child too. Yikes!

We love this center! The teachers are so caring and loving to our child. We have been attending for over 2 years. If we ever have any issues (rarely) the management team helps us immediately. Our child is enrolled in soccer and Spanish classes as well. There are family events/celebrations monthly that we are able to attend which makes us feel as we are all one big family. Thank you for taking such exceptional care and education of our child!

This place does discriminate against children who receive help from the state. Any child care center who is willing to deny a family due to their financial situation is a place I would steer clear from. The lady I spoke with on the phone was super nice until I stated I have help paying the tuition then it was studdering followed by we have no room for children that receive state help. I will be reporting them for discrimination!

Let’s start with the fact that I went to this EXACT daycare when I was younger and it was wonderful. I now have a 4 year old myself that I am looking for care for, so I set up a tour and was told once we did the tour and got all the paperwork, etc. filled out my child would be able to start due to their being one position open in the class I was looking into. With everything being as expensive as it is at the moment, I applied for CCS and was approved, once the daycare caught wind of me receiving CCS, I was notified that "all of their DSHS family spots were filled" so I of course was disappointed but, I still need childcare at the end of the day, so OF COURSE I'm willing to pay full tuition if necessary! Once I notified them that I was fine with paying full tuition I was put on hold for about 3 minutes, then was told the spot I was looking for was actually just filled earlier that day (mind you I had just spoken to them not even an hour and a half beforehand). I let it go but, told a friend about the experience and how weird I thought it was, my friend was suspicious and ended up calling herself and asking if there were any openings in the same classroom I had requested and low and behold the spot was absolutely STILL OPEN! So at this point I feel like I dodged a bullet dealing with this daycare because if you're discriminating toward people who are trying to receive a bit of assistance while we're in the middle of a RECESSION I can only imagine how you'd judge a child!

Both my girls attended this La Petite location years apart. The teachers here are wonderful and the center is well-run and cozy. I always felt like the teachers genuinely cared about my daughters' well-being and happiness and wanted them to feel safe and loved at school. Both my girls loved their time here and were both very sad when their time at their "little school" ended. My girls and I are very isolated as the rest of our family lives 3,000 miles away and the La Petite family served as the only real social circle outside of our home that my girls had for quite some time. La Petite really contributed to my girls' growth, learning, and socialization in much needed ways and I'm very grateful for the time they were able to spend here. I can't say enough about the lovely ladies working here and I wish them all well going forward.

Both of my sons attend this school, and they both love it. The whole staff is so caring, and they're always going above and beyond for all of the kids. I've been a part of the school for almost 3 years now, and we couldn't be happier! My youngest learns so much, and always has a great time; my oldest, is being accommodated for and is able to do his remote learning with no trouble, and all the help if he needs it.

Just love this place! Our daughter started here at 6 months old (she's now 3). It can be very stressful to go back to work with a young infant, who will be looked after by others all day, 5 days a week. The ladies in the infant room were so great and caring. Some of them have worked at LPA for years! Then our daughter continued into the ones, twos, and preschool rooms. It was the same thing - loving teachers, craft and learning time, and my favorite part - outside play time (2x a day). We recieved pictures with updates throughout the day on the app which is also very nice. You know you've found a trust worthy place when you drop your child off and they run to the door with a big smile on their face...we would not have stopped going here if it weren't for a change in work circumstances for us. We will be back if things change for our family - no question. <3 thank you all for the years of care for miss H

This has been our childcare for close to ten years now with each of our three children attending. The staff treat us like family and it is so comforting to know that my children are being well cared for while we are at work. Our now toddler is the only one attending as the older two are now school age. Our toddler truly gets excited to see his teacher and the other staff members. The love and compassion that the teachers starting from the infant room on up is comforting because ultimately your trusting them with your most precious babies. I love that they have an app that sends us pictures throughout the day that makes us feel still connected with him when he is there. I highly recommend LaPetite to anyone looking for a great place for childcare.
