The initial services in 2017 were very good. However I did not reuse the service anytime in the near future..and had reached out in 2022 via email to ask to pick up my house key. I was advised they were out of town and it would have to be another day. I had neglected to re-communicate anything for a couple of years..my mistake. I did reach out today March 17th 2024..asking to pick up my house key and was advised it was discarded..after 5 years they apparently, (what I can assume because of no future reservations) discarded keys and just threw it away. I had no call to advise this was happening or email to let me know. I do not really think this is the best way to do business even with someone who only used your service once. Please rethink your practices..especially when you have a key to someone's residence. Thank you

We have used Janice's service 19 times since April 2021 to take care of our cats when we are traveling. They are reliable and treat our cats well. We have video monitors in our home and we watch their visits sometimes. They talk to the cats and brush them and generally treat our pets as we would treat them ourselves. We usually pay them in advance using Zelle although they have other payment arrangements. They refill the water fountain and the automatic cat feeder and cleaned the litter box before we bought a Litter Robot. They are familiar with this machine and know how to change the catch bag in the tray. One of our cats requires a medication and they take care of that as well. We used to live less than 1/4 mile from their home but in April 2023, we moved to Des Moines, WA. That was still within their coverage area so they continue to help us. Very satisfied.

We love Janice's Critter Care! We've used them several times to take care of out cats while we were away on longer trips. They take excellent care of our cats and promptly reply if we ask for an update.

We started to use Janice’s Critter Care when we moved to Federal Way in 2019 to care for our cat. The peace of mind that her team provides while we are away is most wonderful. Her communication, responsive, and loving care she provides is beyond amazing.This past December we went away when a snow storm arrived and she kept us in the loop on conditions and still made it to see our diabetic cat. Even when the road wasn’t plowed and had to walk to get down to her house, she still made our cat and his health a priority. We are beyond grateful for her dedicated care and services. I highly recommend Janice’s service!!

First time using this service. Spent an hour with the owner going over rules, policies and pet needs. We traveled during the holidays and bad weather. Had multiple flight cancellations and stress trying to get to my daughter's wedding. Ended up on the original flight home which was earlier than second rescheduled flight, but owner unwilling to refund 2 visits for "early return". One of the dogs was given wrong food the entire time even though we discussed the location of the food in our interview. The owner blamed me for not labeling things better. She tried to minimize my frustration by saying how hard it was taking care of the pets during the bad weather. Well, that's what your business does. I felt she was condescending and inflexible with adjusting the cost even though I had no control of the logistics of the travel. She offered to refund my payment and then cashed the check. Won't be using this service again.

I really appreciate the professionalism and courtesy of JCC. They hold a high standard of professionalism and always treat my property and pets with respect. I take vacations anxiety free because I know my pets are in thier home, not some kennel. Worth every penny!

Thank goodness for Janice’s Critter Care! This family business has been part of our family for the past few years taking care of our Goldadore Lucky. This team is trustworthy. They have excellent knowledge about animals and they are genuinely good people. We would not trust our dog with anyone else. Our dog loves Janice’s Critter Care and she is very happy whenever she sees them.

We have been using Janice's Critter Care since we moved to Federal Way earlier this year. Janice is very responsive and flexible with our changing schedules. Christine always takes excellent care of our pup and makes sure he gets long walks while we are at work. We have had poor experiences with Rover in the past so we were thrilled to find this company. We trust Janice's Critter Care 100%.

This company is very personal and professional when it comes to onboarding and caring for furry loved ones. My pupper loved his carer and I'm so happy we went with them!!They left notes after their visits, and were very thorough when taking care of my old boy. I will absolutely be using them again and recommending them at every turn.

Always dependable service. Low turnover of sitters and walkers. The same person has served us for many years, at least 7. Couldn't be more confident in a pet service. And always a quick response to inquiries.

Janice and Tim are top notch! We have trusted them with our 2 dogs and entry into our private home for years. They are also great communicators with respect to anything they see during their visit. And they are extremely flexible with our ever-changing schedules.
