I was told that as long as I had a certain minimum amount in my business account, then my account would remain active, and I wouldn't be charged anything more. However, when I decided to close my account since I am no longer doing business, they were taking money out of my account charging me this whole time without letting me know.

This is a review of the mortgage division, in particular, Kameron Wagar. Absolute rock star service with a somewhat complicated sale. Kameron referred me to an insurance person when our insurance company clammed up. We previously had a mortgage with them and regretted leaving. Thankful to be back with them for our vacation home!

Such a despicable company!!! Called to found out they have been open all during this record breaking freezing/snow weather. As a local bank from Washington I am appalled!!!! You’d think they’d understand and could relate to their workers!!!! Really shows that they don’t truly care about their employees safety! I will be closing my account when the weather subsides! Can’t support such a bank

All I will say is, Don't fall on hard times if you bank here. I've overdrafted my account maybe once in the 5 years I've banked here and that time was totally my own ignorance so I paid it. This time, not my fault. If my check would have gone in this Thursday like it was supposed to, I wouldn't be in this situation. Anyway called in and they convinced me they needed those fees more than my family needs to eat. God bless you Homestreet, hope you guys get back on your feet!

I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.I used to LOVE HomeStreet. Been banking here for at least 10 years - now I’m trying to close my accounts. The customer service has been awful as of late - both in the drive through and inside. Which is honestly so sad because for years I loved the staff and looked forward to see them. I’m not sure if management changed or what happened but this bank is not what it used to be.

I am new to this business. I have primarily worked with the Branch Manager. He has been helpful. There has been glitches with their computers and other of their office machines that have caused some delay in transactions.

If I could give a zero star that is what this place deserves. I had spoke with one guy sent my information and then got tossed around from one agent to the other all horrible with communication. After my 4th or possibly 5th agent (lost count) and a month later of endless emails and calls trying to get a hold of anyone I finally got an email back and it said " oh, its been a madhouse here. What is it that you wanted." I actually am glad they ignored me cuz I would hate to have to deal with this company for the next 30years.

I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone, ever. My boyfriend made his mortgage payments in cash in the branch but they never once made him aware that there was a problem with his loan. We are facing foreclosure and his credit has been devastated by this. We've been trying for months to get the loan straightened out but are told different things by different people when they happen to answer the phone.
The communication at this bank is terrible. Tellers can't see when loans are in trouble. Foreclosure Analysts don't call people back. I'm now dealing directly with the Assistance VP of Late Stage lending and it's just more of the same. I have told her numerous times we are willing and able to pay the loan entirely current but she has failed to have the professionalism to even email me back.
I want someone from the bank who can actually do something to contact me. I am sick of leaving voicemails that aren't returned and requesting information to just be ignored.

Lies lies lies!!!!! If i could give a negative i would!!! Nothing like how it was when the bank first opened. They tell me they are closing my account...fine i will take my business elsewhere. Then guarentee me that my rent and insurance were going to clear i mean i only had 3000 in the bank so why not right? Spoke to 3 different people and 2 different branches and got told the same. Come 2 days later and guess what my rent was returned and so was my car insurance! NICE! Called back and all i got was umm we are not sure what happened. BS of a bank...its a shame they call themselves a bank!!! Take your money elsewhere this place will eat it and say they are not sure what happened...
