Genuine and caring staff members here. The providers I've seen truly connect and listen. Thank you so much for the advice and treatment.

Please don't take your love here. They're playing with your life, and they are not professional. However, I had a really bad experience with this hospital.

April 2023 by Henry and Ruth Dorn
My wife, Ruth, lost her life suddenly in November of 2021, a few days after seeing Dr. Eager at The Medical Pavilion for breathing difficulties.Dr. Eager failed to do due diligence for Ruth by not reviewing my dear wife's prior medical history--which was in his charts and resided in his own portable computer--and which I had to show him after Ruth's sudden death.Inside Dr. Eager's examination room computer, resided Ruth's concerns and conditions and medications and genetic risk factors she struggled with for so long.We both thought we trusted Dr. Eager and eagerly followed his course of medication. But Ruth died suddenly 3 days into a 4-day course of the antibiotics he prescribed for her.Had Dr. Eager simply taken another minute and looked in his computer under the tab that detailed my wife's medical condition, her concerns and her conditions, then Dr. Eager would have had a more comprehensive understanding upon which to dialogue with her and properly treat her--and the outcome of my wife's visit to him would not have ended in her sudden death a few days later. This information--hiding in plain sight to Dr. Eager--would have resulted in an elementary lab test along with results that would clarify just what her overall health was--and what risks she was facing at that very moment. He didn't take that extra minute.I know because when I visited Dr. Eager after my wife died, it was I and our daughter who showed him in his own computer the conditions my wife was living with. He was quite surprised to have missed this important information which was in his own laptop--information he himself input.Do not doctors ever prepare for their patients visits?Or is that asking too much? Like educating themselves about the patient they are about to see before even ENTERING the examination room?Good doctors do just that - they prepare. They know too well the consequences of a careless diagnosis. They are meticulous, thorough, persistent and top in their field. A stellar physician investigates everything in their patient's recent history logs- and dialogues with their patient so as to avoid hasty, expedient and fatal treatment protocols.Obviously, Dr. Eager does just enough to "get by" in today's medical profession. In fairness, Dr. Eager did make a phone call to one of my wife's specialists.Again, I had to point out to Dr. Eager--on the doctor's own computer--prime information he missed in his laptop that would have saved my wife's life.As a result of his complacency, Dr. Eager missed some obvious clues and simply prescribed an antibiotic--and super doses of cortisol--for my wife's lung condition. In and out in less than 20 minutes. Even the x-ray report recommended further investigation. My wife died in the ER from breathing difficulties--just 1000 feet from Dr. Eager's office--on day 3 of his 4-day prescription for her lung problem. She did not deserve this from one to whom she entrusted her life. She is missed by hundreds and hundreds of loved ones, but especially by me and our four children. Our loss, sorrow, shock, trauma, expense and grief I never wish upon anyone. We gain comfort from our Lord in whom Ruth placed her trust while she walked His earth--and lived her life--in His promise.Incidentally, I am still waiting to hear from the Medical Leadership of VMFH who read my letter of Sept 3, 2022.In that letter, I raised a couple of simple questions. Questions I want answered. To date no one from upper VMFH Leadership has reached out to me in person with the answers I requested.Thank you.

Easy to find, helpful staff, short wait. Everyone has different experiences but this place seems pretty solid. Recommend if you need PCM care!

This building separate from hospital is a joke. They are very unorganized, I get its covid but if you see (my wife) obviously pregnant and with twins and she asks what room and floor to go to, at least say the right one. We were late to appointment even showing up 30 mins early because we were told the wrong floor and even the first floor we went to we had to wait 20 of those mins because they had the door locked. We almost got our appointment canceled because of the miscommunication. I also couldn't go in for the ultrasound because they said to many people have covid. I find that funny that I was able to join my wife in the hospital in her room there but not at this location which is still next to the hospital. I also was able to join at another small building next to the hospital. We are on floor 3 at room 320. This is our first kids and I have been by her side for every appointment.

Was very streamlined. Got first covid vaccine. Was in and out in just under half hour which includes 15 minutes observation after shot. Other family members had bad experience at other hospitals with long wait times and lack of consistent distancing even with appointment. I had none of those issues at your hospital.

Why bother to have a MyChart billing system? They don't bill correctly to your insurance, most of the time the balance showing on MYchart is incorrect. If you have multiple insurances check to see if they file your bills to all of them.So you try to call but the customer service teams aren't communicating well. I have had a very rude customer service personal recently. Also, they never repose your emails (Mychart billing). I sent a billing question in Dec last year but never received it. What a joke!

Front desk- Worst customer service ever!!!! 03/13/2020 at 1:02 pm I just called on this nr 253 835 8700 to make an appointment with my midwife Angie Miller, and the lady said I don't know any .... she didn't let me even talk and just hung up the phone. No help , nothing. And Even if you don't know any, your behavior is not aloud. This stuff is really rude You're suppose to be nice with patients and help them !!!! That's why you are there !

My Mom was prescribed pain medication at the end of the day on Friday. Her doctor is Alain Lambert. The person I spoke with told me the medication was sent to Fred Meyer Pharmacy in Federal Way. My father went to pick it up. It was not sent there. I called again and was told that it was actually sent to Madison Army Hospital. He went there Saturday and waited OVER TWO HOURS since you cannot call in advance to see if medications are ready and it was not there either. I called several times over the weekend to get in touch with an on-call doctor to have the prescription sent to Fred Meyer. My Mom was in excruciating pain the whole weekend through all of this. I had one doctor call me back and tell me I had to come into the office and pick up a script for her. I was never told about a physical script. I asked them to call the prescription in. That was the only time I received a call back. I once called the main hospital because I was so desperate to get a hold of someone. That didn’t produce anything. Monday came around and I called the office. I asked for the prescription to be faxed and was told that it would be. I checked back with Fred Meyer and it wasn’t. I called again and spoke with someone named Alaina. She ended up walking over to her colleagues responsible for the task at hand and ensuring the prescription was sent over. She also told me a script had been written so there was some confusion amongst the staff. She was the only competent person I dealt with in all of this. I asked for the office manager’s number, Beth Smith, and left her a message about my experience. I asked her to get back to me and give me one reason why I shouldn’t file a complaint about this experience, including her. This was Monday. It is now Thursday and I have not heard back from her. I do not use St Francis system anymore since a few years ago when I had a horrendous experience at the ER and could have died, thanks to their incompetent and apathetic staff. Their healthcare organization is a joke. Do not utilize any of their services if at all possible.

Doctors are good, but Have little time with patient. Besides during ER visits and minus the long waits for appointments and for Doctors to see you, I've never been with a doctor more than 5 minutes here. And I've had surgery. Even follow ups fast as can be. In and out . Super rushed. Worse than this is the experience with scheduling . The gals that answer phones and book your appointments are very rude. Short and quite frankly, not professional in the least. It's not just one dept. Either. I was hung up on when I mentioned the fact that she was speaking rudely. I do NOT recommend CHI IN FEDERAL WAY.
