This thrift shop is great. Wonderful staff the best items. The Halloween section is just as good as the department store and we'll organized. They are a treasure trove. A great place for a scavenger hunt.

Donated a few items here and had a good experience. Staff was friendly, and since it was Sunday around 6 PM, there was no line—I was in and out quickly. They no longer provide physical donation slips; instead, you scan a QR code for tax purposes. Efficient and smooth process overall—recommend coming on Sundays if you’re in a hurry.

Worst selection of backpacks I've ever seen. For 5 years straight. They sell the good stuff online and leave out a small portion of the junk to keep the prices high artificially.

The drop off at this location is terrible. Often takes multiple trips in order to catch it open.
I once found myself in need of goodwill employment under emergency situation. I know it can get really busy on the dock. However to be closed more than open does not benefit the program as a whole. They should at least provide instruction on other locations where drop off is available.
This should especially be told to those who answer the phones. Calling in advance of drop off does not help, when the person on the phone has no idea the dock is closed.

Every time I try to bring donations here, the donation area is closed. So frustrating when you load up your car with donations and they can’t even have somebody out there to accept them. Today was my last attempt - i’ll take them somewhere else from now on, not Goodwill.

I go to a lot of Goodwills and I think the donation center and staff are the nicest people I’ve encountered. The store itself is pretty small, but felt organized. Check out area had ice cream, never seen that before.

Went to donate they said they were closed. Then I saw one of the guys taking a bag from a lady who got there after me. I asked again “you are closed?” he said yes. I asked why he took the ladies bag and he kept saying they are closed. If you are going to apply rules, make sure the rule applies to EVERYONE. Cannot pick and choose who rules apply to. Will not be visiting or donating here again.

Definitely a place to search and find your outfit. My daughter and I love going to goodwill. This was an interesting one but worth visiting more.

It is 2:30 PM on a Saturday and I went to donate some stuff and they have the gate closed and blocked The entrance. The guy blocking the entrance said they are closed for one hour. I guess the donations are going into the garbage instead.

For being a donation site, the selection is pretty poor.

In general I love shopping at the Goodwill and when I go I make a practice of going on a Sunday or Monday to make best use of the color tag sales. I only buy the tag colors on sale so it takes time, patience and a lot of weeding through but I'm successful enough that I've usually got a list of things to look for from other family members and friends. I've been doing it for years at various store but this past Monday was the first time I've ever had any problem. I was busy going through the racks when a woman walked up to me and said she needed to take my cart up to the front. I told her no thank you, I'm still shopping. She said there was a store policy and that she needed to take my cart to the front and get me a new one. Again I told her no thank you, I'm not done shopping yet. She insisted that my cart go up front and stay there until I was checked out. I explained I wasn't ready to check out. I asked her what store policy was I violating. She couldn't tell me. We repeated this several times. As I mentioned before, it takes time and patience to weed through the well supplied stores to find the color tag on sale for the week and I was not about to relinquish what I'd managed to find so far and since I was still intending on continuing through the racks, I wasn't prepared to commit to buy some items in case I found something that better suited the need. When I'm on a mission I prefer to get in, by myself, so I don't have to talk and get it done and thus has become a happy place where I can focus on one thing, not talk and not get interrupted. Of course the woman (who never did identify herself) didn't know any of that or know me (I never recall seeing her at the Federal Way, WA store either) , but the whole thing was horribly embarrassing and totally threw me off. As such, it will be a long time before I set foot in that store again. Never had an experience like that at the Puyallup River Road store or any other kind of store ever. Might I suggest that store policies be clearly defined and posted so customers are aware of them before they start shopping? Having an unidentified stranger pop up beside you demanding to take your cart is unsettling and the aggressiveness of it sure feels like harassment or bullying.

This has got to be the worst thrift store for donations in history. Every single time we have tried to donate here, even when I have called and asked if they are open for donations, when we arrive they are closed for one reason or another. It's ridiculous! I do not recommend!!!

Waited 30 minutes in a line of cars to make a donation, only to have them turn it down despite it not being on the list of things not accepted. Employees were threatening me when I dared to complain about it. Called afterwards to complain to management and was just told they put it on file, no action taken or anything like that. Definitely never coming here, or another Goodwill again. Do yourself a favor and go to Value Village instead - they beat this place in every regard.
