Federal Way Goodwill is a local thrift store located in Tacoma, serving the surrounding community. It is part of Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region, a nonprofit organization that operates 35 stores across 15 counties in Washington. The organization uses its store revenue and community support to provide free training, education, life skills, and job placement programs for unemployed people in the region. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and the organized, small store. The donation process is generally smooth, especially on Sundays when there is no line, and staff members are often very helpful and courteous. Some customers enjoy the opportunity to find unique items and clothing, making it a fun place to search for outfits. However, the donation drop-off area can be problematic, with reports of limited hours and occasional closures that require multiple trips. Calling ahead sometimes does not help if the dock is closed, and visitors wish there were more information or alternative options. Overall, Federal Way Goodwill is a welcoming place for shopping and donating, with staff that go above and beyond to provide a positive experience.
Looked good inside. Had several good deals but needed to cut shopping trip short because they evidently no longer have public restrooms. C'est la vie.

Good location and easy to donate items without a hussle. Will go again.

This thrift shop is great. Wonderful staff the best items. The Halloween section is just as good as the department store and we'll organized. They are a treasure trove. A great place for a scavenger hunt.
