You should be ashamed

Since my child entered the Preschool class there has consistently been a lack of communication. There have been many occasions where I have picked my child up with bumps, scratches, busted lips with no incident reports. When asked what happened staff either did not know or provided inaccurate information on the incident form. One incident report I received stated my child tripped over their shoestrings, however, the shoes did not have laces. I brought this to the attention of the director and nothing was done and was told maybe the staff made a mistake. Even after the incident when they were accused of abusing a little girl, they have not been consistent with providing incident reports or taking pictures when a child has a visible mark. The daycare has an app that is barely used and does not accurately reflect what occurred while my child was there. There have also been several occasions where all the kids were in the Toddler 1 classroom with one teacher and no other teachers in the building, this was a constant issue in the morning pior to COVID-19. The daycare lacks communication, proper supervision and staff that are able to adjust to the needs of the children they care for. The teacher in the preschool internalizes the behaviors of the children and often expressed difficulty with working with my child, as well as, compared my child to other children in the classroom. No child should ever be compared to another, especially when kids develop at different levels.I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. My child has been a lot happier and thriving since I took them out of the daycare.

Trust worthy! It is hectic sometimes in the morning but it is understandable. I love that my kids are happy when arriving & happy when I pick up!:)

I think ChildTime of Federal Way is a great daycare/school. No one is perfect all the time. However - I have never seen any consistent issue. There have been blips but if brought to Alma or Darlene's attention, or the teacher's, I have seen those issues addressed. My granddaughter had a typical tough time adapting as she'd never been to daycare, and the teachers worked with me/her to help make the transition easier and my granddaughter comfortable and happy. She now enjoys school, her peers, and her teachers. She's often said that her teacher is her best friend (Ms. C, Ms. Flor, Ms. Melody). For the most part, as far as I have seen, everyone at ChildTime takes their job of taking care of our young ones very seriously. It is my opinion that Alma is a wonderful Director. Darlene is also wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the teachers who have worked with and cared for my granddaughter - Ms. C, Ms. Flor, Ms. Melody are the main teachers but there are obviously others. Thank you everyone at ChildTime.

My son was born a full two months early. When he started daycare, he still had a little bit of difficulty with the "suck-swallow-breath" mechanism. Everyone was patient with him during each feeding. Also, they worked with us, helping my husband and I navigate those first few months, as first time parents. We definitely feel blessed knowing that our son is loved, cared for, and celebrated for who he is. Thank you Childtime of Federal Way! We sincerely appreciate all of you.

I appreciate the help and the love these teachers give to my sons. My 4 year old is a very outgoing goofy kid with a little temper and his teacher definitley help to teach him to calm his body and use his words. My 3 year old also attends and has learned so much here! Alma the director at child time is great as well as darlene! I recommend this place because it is a safe and fun learning environment!

I would HIGHLY recommend Childtime to anyone I know. My daughter has been going here for 2 years and loves it. I trust all of the people who take part in my daughter's child care...and I can tell they really care. I feel like they have a great balance of fun (which every kid deserves) and learning time (which every kid needs). I plan on my daughter remaining at childtime for years to come (: thank you to everyone at childtime!!

The worst daycare ever! My daughter was excited to start and after the 4th day she begged and cried not to go. When things weren't right and I asked questions about it they wouldn't tell me anything and most time would tell me they are understaffed. They sold me with the app that I could see what my kids day looked like but most times they didnt updated it or it marked all kids as doing and eating the same. 1 red flag was when my kid who normally slept a total of 13-14 hours a day was waking up before 6 and not going to sleep til around 11. Her and mother teacher ganged up on me when I asked about her sleep there then blamed my 3yo. Ultimately, the last day they let my sister in law, who the staff have never met, picked them up early since she told them she is their aunt. They didnt ask for her name, or ID. On the app it said they were picked up at 2 different times

I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star & im actually in the middle of reporting it. 15 students to 1 teacher is illegal .. their pre k is an absolute joke. The teacher they have in there is on drugs or something it’s not so clear but she’s not right. I’ve walked in and the kids have been huddled in the bathroom just hanging out playing with the water, not being supervised, no structure, making them nap from 12-230 is insane. Especially for a pre k class room. My daughter didn’t even have her own basket or rack because there classes were so over crowded. No one on one learning no learning in general. Just complete chaos !!!! I would never ever recommend this place ever. So much more was seen kids getting grabbed by there wrists and yanked spoken to disrespectfully .. oh my god that teacher. Just a hot mess my daughter was not ever there 3 weeks before we took her out.

I drove by, decided to stop in and take a look . As soon as I was greeted by the staff I was immediately told that I needed to move my vehicle from the parking spot because it was for loading and unloading only (it was a Handicap parking spot and i have a permit.) .When I asked where I could park to come take a tour of the school I was told to park somewhere else and walk over.I ultimately decided not to go in and two are the school because the lady that had greeted me was extremely rude. It's my hope that with this review the staff takes more time and care to greet their potential new customers.

Do not take your child here unless you want insufficient care provided by underpaid and untrained staff. Do your child a favor and look elsewhere!

My son loves coming here! We only come part day however he asks all day long if it's time to go yet! He loves Ms. Evelyn and Ms. Rina and enjoys the social interaction with the other kids! He's hard to understand with his speech issues but none of the kids make fun of him for it in fact they pride themselves on helping him talk better and tell me all the new words they taught him (even though most of the time he already knows the word :) ). The director Diana is wonderful and super helpful with any concerns I have! My son adores her and talks about her all the time! His favorite thing to do is to go tell her "Hi!" as soon as we get there and she always stops to say "Hi!" back and ask him how he is! :)

HORRIBLE PLACE! with the exception of one or two great teachers. I used to be a teacher at this center. They do not care about your children, they care about your money! RABIA, the Center Director, is very rude to the children! She will walk through a room yelling/threatening THE CHILDREN (instead of following the common sense things like talking to them at eye level, and not embarrassing them & calling them out in front of the entire class). She has a horrible demeanor towards her staff. The curriculum sucks because it's rarely done. All the good teachers left to other companies because the Learning Care Group Corporation does not support the teachers. Just remember this when you tour the center, "You get what you pay for!", and "The teachers work what they are paid... which is MINIMUM wage, so you are getting the MINIMUM!"
