I stayed here for 3 weeks due to a fire. The staff is amazing and the rooms were great. Beds are super comfortable and the pool was such a nice treat. Their breakfast is also really good with many options. Don’t forget about there social hour they have M-W. My only suggestion is have the bar open daily and perhaps a little longer hours the bar is open.Rooms: Nicely appointed rooms. Clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a good meal.Nearby activities: The mall is next door and there is the movies located there at the mall. Also roller skating is down the street.Safety: They have security and cameras. I didn’t see any problems.Food & drinks: There are several food options within two blocks of this hotel.

We loved being close to so many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is easy to find off the highway and very close to Seattle. It's is quiet and clean, we had a full kitchen suite. We enjoyed social happy hour and the breakfast buffet everyday we were there.

The room itself was great & updated. However, if you're going to stay for the breakfast you going to be quite disappointed. The property just felt like a very basic standard Holiday inn & At the last minute they shoved the "express" onto it. The food options for the breakfast are very limited when comparing it to the standard Holiday inn Express and Staybridge.

They are fine. Not amazing fine or good fine but fine fine. Nicely renovated rooms with kitchens. I got a great rest without hearing the Highway or the trains (in the Auburn location). Some issues I noted: it needs an extra ac in the living room, it was a cold day (for Federal Way) and the living room was 5-8 degrees cooler than the bedroom. I wish the table in the living room was lower (think Springhill Suites height). I also wish there had been a bench or chair in the bedroom. Also, in the lobby they have a “shop” for snacks. Using a card reader for payment that seldom works is a bad idea, make it like Auburn or other HIE locations. In the end, if I had points to use, Or traveling with family, these rooms are good from Staybridge suites, otherwise I will be staying at the regular HIE.

My room was like a small one bedroom apartment. Shower no bathtub. Elevator. Above average continental breakfast. Indoor really heated pool. Newer laundry facility on site. Nice front staff. Housekeeping speak only Spanish. Kitchen units with full fridge, microwave, stove, no oven. Kitchen stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Coffee pot. Complementary Dove shampoo conditioner and body wash. Blow dryer. 2 large flat screen Tvs. Alarm clock.

My mom and I stayed in a two bedroom suite. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet and spacious. The gym is a decent size and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

So much better since the renovation! Rooms are nicely finished, bathrooms are great. Breakfast is very decent, only recommendation would be to offer non-dairy milk options. We will continue to stay here on our annual trip to the Seattle area.

"Under Construction" um, yeah ok...holes in walls, unfinished rooms, door handle to bathroom was off so gap in door exposed for the $700 price (checked in after 3pm on the 7th-checked out before noon on the 10th) I'd say we could have found something better and not impressed. They did have a good complimentary breakfast though.

Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed. The front desk was short staffed, one gal on a Saturday evening but she was rocking it. The system was booking guests into the wrong rooms (gave us 1 King bed for a family of 3) so put us in a Junior Suite. My kids had their own area with bunk beds and a TV it was great. Room was clean and comfy. Wall paper definitely needs replacing and room a little out dated but we were pleased with our experience

Just don’t stay here till they have finished remodeling.. I booked a king bed and got a queen bed room, I’ve never been downgraded before anywhere else, especially when the hotel was no where near full.. Lobby, first and second floor was a mess from construction.. I had to fill out a form for a breakfast sandwich and a juice. Also a $57 deposit I don’t have back yet (edit: my card says it’s a 20 day hold) after booking and paying for the room I didn’t get. People were banging on the door across the hall at midnight, then yelling the next morning. You hear every step the people above you make. When we left there was a car parked by ours that had no side or back windows and a tarp was covering it up, the front desk said the police were looking for the people it belongs to. If I had to justify the one star it’s because they are pet friendly.

Yikes.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.Found this hotel on Expedia while looking for a place to stay on Christmas night. I called them while looking at Expedia to confirm both amenities and room details. I asked what the rate would be if I booked over the phone and it was 10 dollars higher so they told me just go ahead and book online. I directly asked if this would be an issue and they assured me it would not. We arrived at 8 pm Christmas day and the receptionist , Lucy, informed us that they had no rooms available and she had been alerted of such when she came onto shift.I asked why no call had been placed at any point to alert us and she had no answer. I asked her to call her manager and her manager asked her to check a room. At that point it comes out that the issue is not that they have no rooms available, they are simply dirty and have not been cleaned. They are unable to offer any actual solutions to the problem, the amenities listed on Expedia and confirmed by the receptionist were unavailable and while I was told they had "just finished renovations" over the phone the reality is there's broken up concrete all throughout their lobby and it looks like a bulldozer must have driven through it this morning. Since I booked through Expedia they said they were unable to offer any refund and that I needed to contact Expedia. When I contacted Expedia they were unable to get through to the hotel to confirm and we were forced to drive back to the hotels walk in and physically hand them my phone to confirm the information I was given. This hotel is not only unreliable but also mid construction and you should absolutely find another place to stay. No amenities listed are presently offered due to the fact that they are currently under construction. Due to the no notice cancellation I'm now driving 30 minutes away with two small children at what is now almost 10 o clock at night. Please spare yourself the trouble.

Be aware that top floors are under construction as this hotel is being converted to a Holiday Inn, so it can be and was loud at night!Rooms were nice but went to use laundry which for my ten day job, that was critical. So no water comes out of machines , no notice or anything. Find out the construction crew turned off two pipes going to the laundry room and didn't tell anyone apparently. So I had to wait for a long time for anyone to drive from pretty far to turn water back on. I would have been like two hours late for my job that day, so I turned the valves on myself and did the wash. No big deal I thought, but when I told the front desk she became quite upset, the security man comes down and they all are mad at me. Yet nobody turns the water back off, so it was not really an issue, which I was told it had flooded the 8th floor. That was a lie. Those pipes do not control water to 8th floor. I went up to that floor that evening after-work and there was no water damage, and the construction people told me there was no problem. They reported me to Corp as this was occurring, which really wasn't necessary, I had apologized. So Corp kicks me out of the hotel, with four nights remaining.Totally overblown situation, occurring firstly by their own sloppiness. I'm in a nicer hotel now so it is all good, it just wasn't needed to treat me like a criminal when I acted to get to work at least not as late.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Not only was the bathroom disgusting when we first checked in.The hotel staff was rude when I informed of the state of the room. The bed was hard as a rock and left my husband and I with back pain a week after our stay. They have no vending machine or dining options whatsoever. Not even to purchase water. When we requested to cancel our reservation they hit us with the 24hr prior notice of cancelation. Please don't ever stay here the one star option is so I can leave the warning!!!! DON'T EVER STAY HERE!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!
