Their website, answering machine and DOOR all say they're until 9pm. Why, then, were their doors locked at 8:40pm? Their rude salesperson refused to answer me or the four other angry customers in the parking lot.

Went in for diy hair color...poor selection. No salon worker for the day. One worker did try to help but said she wasn't sure. So I stated i would wait until tomorrow. While I was just browsing older non poc worker just randomize walks down aisle (fairly close to me) and picks up a product, stares at me and reads it then circles around aisle and looks at me again....She never asked to help me... maybe completely random but I always feel profiled in Ulta. I'm an older lady and was dressed appropriately (no large bags, bulky clothing etc.) and furthermore do not steal. That really made my day of self care....feel uncomfortable/unwelcome!

Federal Way Ulta is terrible!.. I have purchased a number of things here over the years and in general had very good service. I went in this week and picked up a brow pencil and the Woman who helped me verify a shade was really lovely. I then went to the opposite corner of the store to look at hair color as wanted to take the plunge and try doing my own color. I spent a long time trying to figure out what color would be appropriate and pulled out my phone for one of the " scan me for your perfect color" tabs on the shelf. At that point 2 store employees approached me with scowls on their faces wondering if I needed help. Although the older woman (? store manager maybe??) was helpful, she was VERY unfriendly. It was VERY clear to me that they thought I was doing something wrong!!!! I have NEVER been treated like a criminal and will never go back. My only regret is bothering to purchase my items at all. I will never go back!~ I am a 60 yo medical professional and I have NEVER treated my clients that way. Amazon will be fine for my purchases in the future or Sephora or Nordstroms if I really need some personalized help in the future.

Service here is lacking. I was in the store for about twenty minutes and there were several people working but too busy talking to each other to ask if I needed help. I did. Left without finding what I needed.

Very poor service. I have brown dark skin, I came and I wasn't welcomed or anything. After that I heard the 2 girls talking shit about me about how i said that i'm not Amanda or whatever. After that I came there because i wanted my hair to be done, Liz said she couldn't do it because my hair is dark (but thats why i came because I couldn't do it myself). She said it will be pricey ( as i wouldn't be able to pay the price) and at the end she didn't do my hair. I asked her to rebook me and she kept saying it will be expensive. Wanting my hair done is being conscious about it being expensive and i am aware of that. A lot of racism and discrimination. I AM NOT COMING BACK THERE ANYMORE AND I WOULD TELL MY FRIENDS NOT TO COME AS WELL.

Ulta Beauty is my one stop shop for all my beauty needs. From shampoos to makeup to fragrances they have it all. I've been in and out for years to different locations and have never had a bad experience. Staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. There's always a sale and if you can get the Ulta app you can earn points and also get coupons very frequently.
