My husband and I came in earlier this year to get glasses, he had insurance and they didn't accept mine. They told him he had a $25 copay and I did the 2 pair for for $79.95. I had picked out my 2 pair and was waiting for my husband to be done when I noticed both item numbers were the same. The guy didn't put both pairs and put 2 of the same frames. Luckily I caught the mistake before I left or I would have showed up upset.A few months later. A bill shows up for my husband from National Vision Inc for another $25 dollars. Confused he called and they said he owed them for the glasses. He told them that he had a $0 balance from America's Best and had no idea why they would be charging him, they told him it was for the frames. So he ended up paying $50 for 1 pair but if America's Best employees would have done their job properly he could have gotten 2 for the $79.95 instead.Also, the first time we came in to dispute this they said they would 'make it right' knowing that they had given him the wrong information but they were busy and told him to come back the next morning to work something out. While there another customer was upset that he had the same 2 pair of glasses when he had chosen 2 different pairs! America's Best also is refusing to take payment for the National Vision Inc bill when National Vision Inc said that America's Best could take the payment.Federal Way America's Best employees are incompetent and I would avoid this place!!!!

You will be on hold ur questions don’t matter even the most basic how long are u open or if u can get glasses repaired there with insurance. This place is krap

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with "Picking up or appointment?" No "hi, how can I help you". I had trial contracts and it's been over a couple of years since I wore contact lenses and when I asked if I could have a case... at the very least a case to store my trials. They said they don't do that and made me feel as if I'm trying to steal trial contact lenses. No one told me to give them a call to schedule a follow up appointment if the trials doesn't work out. I have been coming to this location for over 7 years and the level of service and expectations have GREATLY diminished. Come to find out they didn't even have any notes on my file and I had to tell them why I was even there...

This place is a joke I ordered frames and a whole week goes by and I call to check on the frames I ordered and one lady tells me that one pair of glasses are ready and going to be shipped today and you'll can pick them up at the end of the week the other pair she doesn't know what's going on with them I said why don't you go ahead and find out and call me back I get a phone call about an hour later and the person talking to me says that my order was canceled and they don't know why but now my frames are not coming so now I have to go in and pick new frames out and wait another two weeks but I wouldn't even know that if I didn't call them myself they weren't going to call me they were just going to wait then when I was speaking to the lady because I was obviously frustrated she hung up on me this place is a joke for service and frames oh and I still have not got my frames

Waited for 1.5 hours. Checked by the Doctor and waited again for lens/frame order and when the lady opened my chart the Doctor did not leave my prescription. The Doctor was already done for the day and left so they asked me to come back after 2 days. Worst service. While waiting for my turn another patient was complaining at the desk and overheard he waited for 2 hours.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. The customer service is horrible, the exam sucked when I got it done in August. Both pairs of glasses that I spent $200 on even when the deal was supposed to be $80- BROKE within the FIRST WEEK of having them. I called today asking for my prescription because the middle part actually snapped, I’ve never even seen glasses do that before. Snapped because they refused to fit the glasses to my head and so the arms of the glasses were too wide and constantly fell off my head. The other pair broke because both belt fell out and the lenses cracked at impact.I asked for my prescription so I could order glasses online for school. They told me that I had to either drive OVER AN HOUR to them to get it or they could mail it EXCEPT THEIR MAILING WASNT CURRENTLY ACTIVE.This place is such a scam and it’s sad. Trying to claim that they can’t give out the prescription over the phone saying it’s their HIPPA policy when they’ve done it before and also when they confirm your identity they’re legally not allowed to withhold that information.If I could 0 stars, and god I wish I could, I would.

Service after the exam is very inefficient. Even I came to just to get a prescription. I was forced to wait to all the people picking the glasses. There is nobody to check out person in front like me. It is very obvious they want people who don't want to buy from them to waste time.

I was charged for a contact lenses exam and not allowed to pick up my contacts after I was told to pick then up. The reason being I has to schedule an appointment to take a class to put them on. I was not even allowed to have the prescription from the very exam I was charged for.

I want give them no star. When I call to get appointment for my kid. They said they're gonna try to exam for my kid eye exam. But they didn't even try just refused to examine my kid. This place is worse

My first time here I worked with Cherish. She was incredibly helpful. It was like shopping for frames with a good friend that held no biases. She gave me an honest review of lots of frames I thought would work for me. She considered my face shape and size and she gave me lots of frames and helped me narrow my choices. She also walked me through the types of lenses that I could purchase. If you go to this location ask for Cherish. She is a gem.
