Needed a battery replacement for my boat and thought I'd purchase it at advance to turns out I've gotten it somewhere else but they were quick to locate a comparable battery which will see about a longevity but works for fine seemingly and they also help me find some parts for my old Dodge truck which are hard to come by and they were more than patient and really knowledgeable and helpful at this location which is rare for a parts store. Who most of them require you to know more about your vehicle than they do, but here they more than happy to help which is a nice change of pace.

My car battery died, and I was stranded. IThe Advances Auto Parts store team got me paired with the right battery at a good price and helped me swap it out quickly. I appreciate the time and support Al provided me with throughout the whole process. I was safely back on the road with a reliable battery thanks to them.

Christina is the worst, knows nothing about the Value of customers. I was given the wrong rotors at another advanced auto, and tried returning them here for convenience. Receipt in hand and fully boxed parts. She tells me she has no way of verifying I was given the wrong part. I ask her to call, she says no. I ask is there anything she can do, she tells me to drive to Tacoma (25-30min away) Where I got them from. i Asked for a manager, she said she is the manager. I would have not only returned but purchased more items had she been more understanding and attentive to the customer. Please re-train this "manager" on the value of customers and representing the brand. She needs to be converting, not pushing what builds the business away. If this store isn't reaching its numbers, she is the number 1 reason.

Went in Saturday 10-7. Greeted the counter person with the most Mr. Rogers welcome possible.Counter person was not interested at all in helping or resolveing any issue.No negative interactions, she just didn't care to be there.Management should review the incident and assist the employee with customer service skills.I will not shop Advance Auto any longer.I'll buy a new car first.

I checked on the Advance Auto Parts website to ensure the correct wiper blades for my vehicle were in stock. I then drove to the store and went in, grabbed the blades from the rack and went up to the counter. One of the packages was mangled and appeared to have been opened, and of course there were only two. I asked him to check to ensure they were the correct ones, even though I knew they were the correct ones. He tells me they're incorrect and they've been discontinued. I also looked in the damaged package and saw that it was missing one of the universal connectors. They actually put that out on the rack for people to buy.During the interaction with the customer service guy, he kept referring to me as male. When I corrected him, he just said the word MAN and kept referring to me as male, when I'm clearly not male. So I told them to forget it and walked out.I was going to buy oil and a filter, too. This makes two bad experiences with Advance Auto Parts in a row, and now they've permanently lost a customer.

Great and knowledgable people. Best prices in federal way. No reason to go elsware. Ask about a part or tool. If you like the price they will pull it from the shelf for you.

Pretty frustrating visit. I bought an auto part from Walmart and I was told to return it to this partner store. They had no idea how to process the return. Initially they told me I needed to get a shipping label and mail it back to Walmart. Walmart said to return it in person at AAS. Guy kept on saying I was lucky they weren’t busy so he could take the time to help me. What about my time? Eventually it got settled with a three way call between myself, Walmart, and Advanced Auto.
