“Everson Market has a good variety of grocery basics. Prices are generally higher than shopping in Bellingham or Lynden. Store is always clean and the staff is generally friendly. Inventory on some items (bread, produce) can be low before they get their weekly shipments.”

“We stopped here en route to a hike in the Mount Baker area to get some food and snacks. The burritos were so so amazing and genuinely some of the best Mexican food near Vancouver and the fella working the front desk in the store was super helpful and polite! Delicious Mexican food that kept us noirshied on our hike !”

“Cheapest gas in Sumas (always). Same owners as the two yellow sign stations on the Guide Meridian in Bellingham. However, the washroom is subpar (lack of soap and paper towel). It's a no frill cheap gas station with a convenient store. My go to place!”

“The best fruit of the day was the strawberries, amazing! Though ironically, they were the most painful fruit to pick since they hide low and out of sight. It is truly wonderful to be able to freshly pick so many different things (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries) in one friendly and easy spot. The cashiers were nice and the guy driving the tractor gave good berry targeting advice (go for the strawberries at the end, almost no one makes it that far :). Best 20 bucks ever spent for some family fun!”

“The best one stop shopping there is . Wish we had them in Canada. It's like combining Superstore with Costco.it has the largest bulk food area I've ever seen. We love them. Winco must be another word for variety. It's one big store and has so much to offer. We will be looking forward to our next trip south of the border.?”

“The Xpress shop has all types of variety for anything you can think of. They have exotic candies, drinks and amazing customer service. They have a lot of grocery items and the owner is very kind and friendly. They value and each and every customer that comes to the shop and that is shown with their kind and helpful behaviour. I would recommend all to come here for any Xpress needs.”

“I always have a positive experience here, and that makes life just a little sweeter! The staff are friendly and kind and helpful. They have a great selection of non-toxic, organic items. The prices are fairly high but the quality of most items is much better. I look for the orange stickers, and often find 50 percent off ones, which is a huge help! You also get rewards points for every purchase over 15 dollars, which add up over time and can be used for free groceries. Today I had a wonderful experience in the cosmetic section with Dionne, she was so kind, patient and very helpful, which truly made my day! I continue to come to this store regularly because of my consistent positive experiences. Thanks to all the staff at this Choices that make it a welcoming place with an old-school neighborhood feel!

“I had no interest in going to Bulk Barn until recently when I checked out their website. Going inside the one in Abbotsford, I was very fascinated by what they had to offer. They have kitchenware, a unique selection of bagged snacks, sealed brand vitamin supplements and birthday supplies, including piñatas. As for their bulk stuff, they have a variety of different things, such as candy, cereal grains, coffee beans, cake decorations and pet treats. I was hesitant on buying just anything since those bulk items are stored in flip containers with scoop holes that prevents them from being fresh. I really like some of their discounts, like for their Jameson brand supplements and the $0.99 bags of Halloween candy. I would like to come back to the Bulk Barn again soon to check out their holiday offerings.”

“Thankful to have a nearby location to grab items instead of having to drive all the way to Bellingham. The prices are a little higher here; but it definitely outweighs the time it would take to go to the next closest store.
Deducted one star because no matter what day or time I go in, and even if it’s for just one minute, the smell of the deep fryers permeates my hair and clothes immediately and I can smell it on me after leaving. Every single time. Something about the ventilation isn’t working properly. I always feel like I need a shower after shopping here. I hope they can fix that problem some day.”
