It really Smells bad because it's a pig farm!! Trailer way to close to pigpens!! Drove far to get there and had a huge problem with our reservations and couldn't get ahold of owner(she went out for the evening)!! The caregiver wouldn't help us either. So now it's 10:30pm at nite and we ended up sleeping in our car at some boat launch in a small town called Acme!! We were so mad!! Please don't waste your time and money!! TO STAY AT THIS SITE!! ****NEW UPDATE APRIL 19 2022. Wanted to let everyone know the owner wrote back to me. She apologized and did refund our money back right away and explained what happened!! The yurks are a lot further away from the pig pens and do look interesting to rent!! Someday if we get back in the area during the day I would like to check it out and also meet the owner!! I really do appreciate it and again say thank you for writing back about the situation. Oh and Happy Belated Birthday.?

We have been watching this farm grow over the past couple of years. Great pork meats, super nice people, full pumpkin patch & you can get freshly cooked pork sandwiches & onions along with a Kulshan beer on the back porch. Great community builder!

This farm is like no other. A getaway from the city life but also a realization of what good quality food is. Family owned they have created this space as a retreat for foodies to enjoy high quality pork, as well as other products such as CBD, honey and more. I have had the privilege on trying their bacon, sausage, pork chops, lip balm, soaps, etc. Each product is well worth it from cost and love, commitment made to create the item. I especially love their uncured bacon! Known as a superfood- it really helped me recover from being sick lately giving me a boost of energy and what I needed! Highly recommend. The pork chops are the same. You cannot go wrong. You can also take farm tours and really learn about the intricacies of the business and the dedication required to make it sustainable. As a family, I commend their hard work and as a semi new farm, it is a gem in this area that needs more attention. A must see and try.Last but not least they have other items on their growing menu, including staying on the property in cool yurts as well as offering one of a kind farm to table pig roasts this summer. Go to their website for the deets.

A warning, if you get addicted to really tasty food, this pork will get you hooked. When I go to the grocery store, I walk right by the pork section. It doesn't matter if it is less expensive. It just isn't as good. My first test was a simple chop browned then broiled with garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. It was the pork of my childhood on the farm, firm, clean and full of umami. The cuts are well processed. The bones make great broth. It turns out doing it right also tastes better. Oh, and the service was great too.

We love Alluvial Farms. Over the past two years, we have purchased from them on multiple occasions and have experienced superior quality throughout the entire process. It is good to know the farmers who raise the food that you eat. And it's even better to know farmers who care so deeply for their work, land, and animals. To sum it up: support your local farmers, especially these local farmers.

Very nice pumpkins, happy looking pigs, nice folks, and from what I can tell from their yard signs and website, values of environmental stewardship that I am happy to support! Everything I was looking for in a pumpkin patch!

I recently picked up my second quarter pig share. Why? Because this is the most delicious pork I have had in years! It is tender, juicy and sweet. I actually have not tasted pork this scrumptious since I was a kid, and I'm 70 years old now. My husband says it's the best bacon he has ever tasted...and I agree. Try this pork! You will not be disappointed! And Katie and Matthew are wonderful.

We toured the farm last summer and brought home some samples. We don't eat a lot of meat because of the way the industry typically treats its animals and the environment. But Alluvial Farms is doing a commendable job. Great folks and impressive products. The chops and roasts are memorable! Thanks!

Katie and Matthew are responsible, accountable, hard working, and super passionate about what they do! My family loves their bacon, links, chops, roasts, lard and just about everything they produce. When I cook their product's for friends, everyone says, "This is the best ___(fill in cut of meat here) I have ever had"! Support a sustainable family run business and invest in your health and folks that raise and harvest animals humanly and with respect.

These guys are amazing! Matthew and Katie thoughtfully raise their pigs and truly care about the animals and the land they’re farming. They’re detail-oriented from start to finish!Oh, and the pork is delicious! I dream of Alluvial bacon and BLTs! Juicy chops! Pozole anyone? Vermicelli bowls! I want it right now! You can buy their pork and meet them at the Bellingham Farmers Market or reach out and learn more on their website! They also offer cool events like farm tours and butchering workshops, so keep your eyes peeled for those too!
