This place is awesome. Ask for Josh if you want your tattoo to look beautifully done by a professional. Josh did an amazing work on my tattoos. His personality and professionalism are deeply appreciated, especially if you're getting a tattoo for the first time. I highly recommend Josh for his artistic view and think out of box creativity!

Keane did an excellent job on our tattoos. My sister-in-law and I left very happy. Easy to work with and very professional. He was able to do a great cover up for us as well with a flat on the wrist. Highly recommend.

Janell is FABULOUS! I've been to several different shops in different states, and she is HANDS DOWN the best piercer. Her presence is so calming, she's clearly educated in what she's doing and just has a natural gift. It was super easy to get an appointment. Incredibly clean. Super happy with my new nostril piercing and new jewelry for my eyebrow piercing. Definitely only be going to her from now on and sending all my friends!

My daughter and I were supposed to have a Mama & Daughter Spa Day, but I've always believed that everything happens for a reason. This days' reason apparently was because we were supposed to get tattoos instead. And so we did. We called first to see if they'd take any walk-ins and thankfully they did, but they weren't sure if they could that day. She was really nice over the phone and in person. We were determined so we told her we'd be there in 20 minutes. When we arrived, we weren't sure we parked in front of the right place as it looked more like a vintage second-hand shop. Turns out it was and that the tattoo shop was in the back half of the building. When we walked in the vibe was cool. The tattoo shop was huge, bright and inviting with walls of creativity, art and marine decor. They had multiple stalls with plenty of room in each, a seating area in the middle with comfortable sofas and pretty cool things for sale in the vintage second-hand part of the shop. Josh was who we were assigned to. He was very attentive, open to suggestion and extremely talented. He was also meticulous about his preparation and despite us being a mother daughter duo, Josh still made a point of cleaning and prepping the area between our turns. Great to talk with as well. For being a twenty-something year old, he had a lot of great stories and plenty of experiences to share. But alas, what you want to know is how our last minute tattoos turned out. Well just take a look at the pictures! Josh did an amazing job! The only thing I would suggest after our experience here is that they look into using Second Skin as part of their aftercare. Other than that, we're happy to say we have found our new tattoo place.

Go see Josh and you will leave happy. Awesome shop, very clean and open. Have had a couple pieces from Josh now and my girlfriend will be getting her 2nd. All of the artists appear to be very talented.

The store was charming. The staff were quite helpful, and the piercer was very knowledgeable. I came to buy a septum ring for my birthday since I had lost the last one. Up until the paying part, it cost me $60 to get a new ring, and I did not mind paying for that, but what I minded was the piercers attitude for not giving her a tip for only installing and stretching my septum hole. You’re not entitled to a tip if I don’t want to give one. How outrageous.

I’ve been tattooed by nearly every one of the artists at Sunken Ship and I’ve NEVER been disappointed. Everyone is incredible, and the owners Matt & Heidi are such good people! 10/10! Always a great experience.

Went in there because we thought it was a thrift store but it's two things in one..
The first part is a thrift store and then the back part is a tattoo shop. My boyfriend got a tattoo there and the guy that did it his name was Josh. He did a excellent job. Thank you Josh. My boyfriend liked it so much that he is going back for another one..

This place is amazing! It's good vibes from the moment you walk in.
If you've never been there, you might be a little thrown off by the fact that it's a vintage store in the front.
Everyone in there is super friendly and helpful. I've gotten piercings and tattoos done there, and so have a lot of my friends and family. They take the time with you, and want you to be happy with what you're getting done. And their prices are reasonable, and in some cases even less than other shops.
Anytime anyone asks me about my tattoos, I proudly tell them I got them at Sunken Ship, and that I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I got a tattoo here from Jordanna and had a great experience! The place is super clean, staff is really nice and helpful, and Jordanna did absolutely gorgeous work. I plan to go back!
