Love this salon and my hairdresser, David!! The salon has a lot of cool merchandise for sale. I shop at the salon for birthdays and great stocking stuffers. Have been going to David for several years. He is fast, fun, and my hair always looks great!!

I have been a patron of Salon Retro for years. I have followed with Carol, the owner, for all of those years, going from colored, long and short, curly and straight and now the silver-gray, short and thinning hair of a 79yr old!

Kyoko is the best! So knowledgeable, thorough, and professional ... she transformed my hair! It was so easy to trust her. And I love the shop ... there's a cozy and comfortable vibe like you're in well decorated and tastefully furnished cottage in the woods.

I've been here quite a few times, the good reviews drew me into trying it out. That appointment was great. Everything was smooth. A few days ago I had another appointment. I should've just gone elsewhere. I tried to explain what I wanted, how I wanted my hair styled, warned them about some areas I want long, etc. But the hairdresser just would not listen. They ruined my hair, and I had to stop the appointment early and leave. I was yelled at and told I am too unexperienced to understand what the hairdresser was doing. I expressed that I wanted my hair done a specific way because I have a skin issue that I try to cover with my longer hair. I was then told that it should've been mentioned before the appointment started. Which I did mention.I've never had this experience here before until that day. I will never come back here. Absolutely horrible experience.

My husband and I chose this salon randomly. I didn't know what to expect. We both got our hair cut by Dave. He was wonderful! He spent a lot of time and was extremely detailed! We highly recommend Dave. We will return!
