This place is pretty bad, even by Safeway standards. It's minimally staffed so don't expect help with anything, don't bother trying to order anything from the seafood department because there's nobody there at 6pm and if you ask they won't send somebody to help. I literally had to drive across the bridge to Fred Meyers for Salmon because it was faster than trying to get someone to work the seafood counter here.

An ok store in a pinch or if you just need a couple/few things. They do have a Starbucks inside ??♀️ but don't be surprised if they're out of 1 of the 4 things you're getting or just don't have it. (It's kind of a smaller safeway) But the employees are usually pretty friendly despite having to deal with the things that come along with being on North Broadway ?

Coffee prices outrageous everywhere now. Basics in stock. Low supply on fresh fish n seafood. Fresh veggies in stock at this location. Today 5/30/24

So just wondering where the customer service went there was some older people trying to check out and being directed to self check what is next have to stock the shelves and unload the trucks .

I don't know why the employees here aren't required to get a shave and a shower before showing up for work but the heavy set man/lady working the self check out smells really bad. Looks like the kind of person where you get home hand find one of his black beard pubes in your grocery bag. Absolutely disgusting. The courtesy girl was very nice though and I won't let the smelly employee ruin my overall experience.

Selection is really hit and miss. They take forever to restock shelves, but still also do it in the middle of rush while half clicking aisles.
Most of the cashiers aren't that friendly or helpful, some are but most aren't.
Management doesn't seem to care about anything really.
Low quality, low effort, not low prices.

The worst thing Safeway ever did was put in self checkout. I don't grocery shop here anymore if I can help it. It's easy to steal here because they have no employees so expect shady people here. What a disgrace. I enjoyed the one checkout with the cashier she was nice.
