Very Rude customer service reps. Zero respect for your customers

Would give a negative star if I could! I’ve had issues with them several times… not picking up our garbage/recycle on the day they are scheduled to, not putting my recycle bins back in front of my driveway after they have emptied it, not picking up the trash they drop from emptying the garbage and recycle. My husband approached the recycle man last week about not putting our bins back and the recycle man actually argued with him about it! So unprofessional and whenever I call, they act like they will address the matter but it clearly has not been addressed because it still continues to happen! Today I talked to Tim, the manager of the garbage/recycle men… sounded like he will be finding reasons to put us to blame rather than putting his employees in check for their lack of work and unprofessionalism. I’ve sent pics and videos from my security camera showing what their garbage/recycle men are doing and that still doesn’t seem to be enough proof for them. We are paying customers and the fact that this is the only garbage company who serves majority or all of Everett area may be the reason why they do not care to take care of the issues… because we have no other choice but to service with them! So disappointing.

Negative stars, the recycle truck hit my parked car! suspiciously right after we had to ask them twice to come get our recycling that they forgot to pick up.

Never takes the entire container of garbage and now they are saying they will stop taking it all together if its not put on what they consider a road. Its paved, a truck can drive up it, it has a curb, it has a name, its on google maps--how is it not a road? Only reason they are in business is a government granted monopoly. Forcing physically disabled people to do the job they are supposedly paying the company to do should be illegal but the company's legal department won't even respond to an email.

So I replaced my plastic can with a metal one because the critters were chewing it up. The very first time it got picked up the side got smashed in. Banging it against the side of the scooter I suppose. Needless to say I'm not impressed. That was a waste of $35. Thanks folks..

I had asked one question that could have been a simple answer. The receptionist was rude and condescending with her answer and explanation which was unexpected and uncalled for. I would have expected more professionalism and better choice of words in customer service.Service: Yard debris removal

Complete garbage. $385 charge for an oversized can?2019 update: Still a bunch of @$&!?#%×Their workers are rude and an absolute joke.2023 update: it's insane how a company can have have a pretty solid monopoly in a specific area and be as terrible as rubatino is.. it's only gotten worse since OG review. Cans are scattered and broken by the workers, garbage and recycle left on the street but the neighbors cans are nicely stacked ?♂️

Overall, our experience with Rubatino has not been great. Our bins are frequently mixed up with those of our neighbors, some of whom drink beer and don't clean their bottles out, so we end up getting a nastier bin each time our trash is picked up despite my cleaning it every week. I usually see the driver attempting some unimpressive juggling routine with our bins. He hasn't gotten any better, but I'm rooting for him. If the bins aren't mixed up, they're knocked over. More importantly, this always leads to a lot of loose trash that then floats away and litters our neighborhood. The drivers are rushed, which negatively impacts the quality of service they can provide. Additionally, because they are rushed, I have seen them flying through our narrow streets on multiple occasions. We have kids running about, especially during the summer. You are sloppy. Do better and be mindful of your surroundings. I called this morning for an update on when recycling would be removed today (since they've always been removed together but today, our recycling had been left for a later p/u). Apparently Rubatino has a policy where they can "guarantee the day, but not the time". That's all fine, but as a new customer (unfortunately), this isn't information we're going to know. My simple inquiry was immediately met with attitude and defensiveness from their phone representative, Kayla. The customer service she offered was about what you might expect from a second-rate waste management company. I was caught off-guard at how assertive and rude she was within 10 seconds of the call. Thankfully she isn't an employee of mine, otherwise she'd be taken off the phones and repositioned for a role that better matches her skillset. This is literally the most basic form of customer service. I wanted to express my other concerns when I called, but it was obvious that Kayla's customer service skills were on par with the juggling skills of the driver mentioned earlier. Sadly, we don't have any other options, but hopefully the company can learn to take pride in their service to the community and provide basic training to a clearly undertrained and underqualified staff. It's no coincidence the company has an average rating as low as it is.

FYI: Rubatino iRefuse Removal is no longer accommodating handicapped or elderly folks. I have a very short paved driveway which their scooter has traveled for 33 years to pickup my garbage can inside my carport. This week there was no pickup. So I had to call them repeatedly only to find out that I have to pay an extra $8 per month service fee or tote my garbage can to the curb. I am elderly and unable to perform that task so I guess I'm stuck with that fee. It would have been nice to be notified in advanced instead of just suddenly stopping pickups.

They pick up trash and recycling in our neighborhood, they hardly ever put the bins or trash back on the sidewalk. They leave them on the street right in front of the cars parked there. Very poor service. Bins in the street again...

I would give a negative star review if it was possible! I can't believe this company is the only option for most of Everett. Not only are most of the employees completely unhelpful when calling they do not resolve any issues. My neighborhood has been missed multiple times and yet we still are charged for service and then charged overages when they do finally come pick up! Their employees string garbage all over the neighborhood and leave containers in the middle of the road or never back where they retrieve them. This company needs to be investigated for all their bogus fees and times they over charge for excess garbage when there is none! The city of Everett needs to have an alternative trash pickup service.Service: Trash removal & disposal

We've been using Rubatino for 25 years. They have always taken all of our garbage whether it's a little or a lot. Anything we put out for pickup is always gone. No mess left behind. Thank you!Services: House & garage cleanouts
