We had to get a POD on short notice to store furniture after a water leak and it was very easy to set up online and get it on site within a few days of ordering. The drivers were great to work with and placed the unit in the best place for our purposes.

I chose PODS to move us to Washington state from San Diego in October of 2023. We used 4 large pods and one small. I the beginning they gave me a rough estimate of the charges with discount offered. From day one they started charging. One charge 2 weeks into this was for $10,000! Never an invoice. Asked for a complete one after move. Denied!The worst is that when they delivered one POD and dropped it off too close to the roof corner. When they removed it it took out the corner of the patio roof. Took out 2 tiles. We had just sold the house and the new owners were moving into the home in 2 days. I found two new tiles at a roofing company. I gave the new owners a $350 check to cover damages. I reported this incident right away and was ignored. I finally got a claim opened. I sent pictures of damage. Pictures of tiles. Picture of canceled check!!! STILL NO REIMBURSEMENT!! I've only talked to one person in claims department. He wants more evidence! I WANT MY REFUND of $400 NOW!I'm going to take them to small claims! It has been over 2 months! I suing for $5000!This has taken so much of my time and has caused me unnecessary stress!! DO NOT USE PODS!!!!!

This is my third move with PODs. Everything was packed into the pod carefully and secured so there would be no shifting of contents. The POD was stored until I could arrange unloading. Having my precious items handled well and stored in a temperature controlled environment was very important to me. The POD was delivered as I needed it and the recommended movers did a fine job unloading it. No damage was incurred to anything. That's why I highly recommend this move option.

The delivery resulted in a lot of damage to the grass around my paved driveway and some broken plants. We were advised to secure our items so they would be safe during transport which we did and yet we still had a lot of damage to our items during transportation. We stored our items for two weeks in the pod during our move and we found all of our boxes were soft and breaking apart and our composite furnature was warped from damp conditions. I would say this product might be best for someone to store items for a short period in a dry state but I would definately not recommend for transportation of items.

Pods was easy to schedule and adjust. They moved and stored our furniture for a month and we did not have any issues. The drivers were friendly and knowledgeable. Would use PODS again in the future.

Delivery day was right on time. No problems getting g the bin in the position needed. I've yet to have the POD delivered to my new place. But so far I am satisfied.

The lack of customer care and the abundance of miscommunication that happens between Pods employees and warehouses is astonishing. Customer service likes to say one thing to make you happy and book with them. Then change up once your Pod is half way across the country.On top of that I had to get movers to pick up my Pod to deliver to me since the warehouse refused to deliver it to my location. Once the movers arrived the Pods employee on site gave them an extremely hard time (me as well) to allow them into my Pod even tho I already cleared it with corporate.The site says they give you a month free storage but will charge you immediately after it arrives.If there is any way you can avoid using Pods for your move I highly recommend doing so.

I was informed my containers would be picked up from texas and head to Washington where I set the delivery address. That was not the case they got picked up and sat in a fort worth TX locations. Finally after I was back to Washington myself 5 days latter I get on the website and see my containers still in fortworth TX. I work in a profession that I need tools. All my tool boxes and tools where in those that sat there a week without moving therfore they set my start date here in Washington a week back and cost me a week of pay which is what I paid for 1 container. I used 2 16ft containers across country but cost me what 3 should have been.

I moved from IL to WA. PODS delivered the container on my drive way and I loaded it little by little for 5 days. They came picked it up and told me it would arrive at my new place in 10 days. I then drove my car and embarked a 9 day road trip to relax and to recharge for unpacking.I appreciate that PODS is always on time. It worked beautifully. I'm grateful ?.

Choosing PODS over a standard storage unit was a great decision. It made our move so much easier and convenient - and only costs a little bit more than renting a storage unit. The website is easy to use and the drivers we interacted with were helpful and professional. Highly recommend.

Delivery/pickup drivers very professional. Wait time on phone was HORRENDOUS! Waited over 2 hours for callback first time, then 4-1/4 hours stuck on hold listening to same music! Finally physically drove to PODS office to get assistance.

I scheduled a POD for delivery and specified a drop off area with the rep. She scheduled it and supposedly made my account but I could not access my account for a full week and I didn’t receive a confirmation email, so I only had verbal confirmation that the POD was coming at all. I called several times to get access to my account and nobody seemed to care that I couldn’t see any proof of scheduling and just told me to wait. Only after I sent in some lengthy email requests asking for access to my account, and calling them again and again did I ever get access to my account. Fast forward to today, the POD arrived early in the morning but the spot I had chosen and specified with the rep was “illegal,” even though I have seen a POD placed there more than once and the rep seemed ok with it. The guy driving the POD said I had to get a permit for the POD to be dropped anywhere, which makes complete sense, but I’ve never moved states before and nobody told me, especially not the rep although that’s her job. While I was working on getting a permit to drop the POD, I called to reschedule the drop off to tomorrow since I need to be out of here by the end of the month and she told me “no the next available day is the 29th,” while the guy dropping off my POD had said they have availability tomorrow. I was very clearly distraught on the phone and she offered no solutions and didn’t even say she was sorry which is the bare minimum of human sympathy. I ended up using a last minute moving service and it was fine but incredibly stressful. Not what’s up with PODs customer service but it is probably the worst I have ever experienced in my life.

I've used and recommended PODS MANY TIMES over the last 10 years.The last time before this time was very frustrating to say the least. This time starting back in March has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!First delivered me a defective PODS!Door wouldn't roll up, which cost me money for the help that showed up for nothing. PODS sent a technician on a Monday, couldn't fix it. They sent another technician on Tuesday, he couldn't fix it. I jammed my back three times on that door. They took the defective one away and brought me a good one. NOTE ..DAMAGED DOOR WAS PRE-EXISTING DUE TO TUST ON TWO DENTS TOP OF DOOR!!THEN!!! PODS started billing me for two units and their HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE COULDN'T understand that I only had one unit. I'm now filling out a form with The Attorney General's Office against PODS.

PODS has moved most of the booking and customer service overseas. That being said, I had a horrible moving experience with them this last time. I have moved with them 8 times previously and it was always so smooth. Now it is a disaster. They told me they would have the POD ready to go for the same day service. But then the day before the move they said that the overseas booker did it wrong. I was called by someone overseas trying to extort 500$ out of me when I had been told that I was paid up. Then I was called by the corporate office in Florida and told that the service was flat out impossible. So between fraud and plain not getting the service I was promised I am dissatisfied to say the very least.Of course being called the day before to tell me they could not get me my POD left me in a tight position with my movers. I ended up having to pay the movers hundreds of dollars extra to have my move completed. And with a post operative hand I cannot lift anything. So now I have boxes everywhere, when they were supposed to be carefully placed because the movers were expected to do a job much larger than expected.I will not be using PODS again.And what is even more frustrating is that I did go through the appeals process and let me tell you. PODS does not care about their customers. They have you send an email and you get an automated message, probably from someone overseas telling you that they think changing the delivery time and manner is acceptable even though it was less than 24 hours notice. And don’t let the guy below my comment fool you into thinking they are working on the matter. I contacted him and he did not respond.

Everything went well and as expected. Good company to deal with, good products.We used PODS for storage during a remodel.I would use them again!
