Instead I get an email thanking me for another payment. Instead of getting refunded they took more money off of my credit card that was not authorized. Now my checking account is so messed up and they do nothing g about it. I asked Horacio to email me back last week and got no reply and asked him to call me today and got no phone call. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. You should be able to trust a business when they have your credit card information to not make unauthorized transactions and double charge you.

This location is very bad.they only have one employee most of the time and they are always on the phone it took 3 hours to get a quote.went back to pay my bill and the one employee was on the phone and told me to come back in 2 hours.i don't think they want the business.very rude.it should be negative 5 stars.dont. Go there.

Customer service is HORRIBLE. Went in circles for SIXTEEN days and finally got it canceled! I got insurance and paid for it on 7/23/19. When they email the documents to sign, my name was spelled wrong. So I called immediately stating that it's spelled wrong and I need updated documents. I talked to a rep and he said he would send it over. The next few days, I went on a vacation but checked my email constantly for updated documents. NONE. I called the following Monday and the rep said I needed to scan my ID and email it to them to change my name. WHY DIDN'T THEY SAY THAT LAST WEEK?? I sent them an email with my ID and called the next day to follow-up. I told the rep that my name is spelled wrong and he said I need to send an email of my ID. Obviously, I'm more upset because I already did that and there's no communication on their end!!!!!! They looked through their email and found my email so they finally changed my name. That day I waited for an email but STILL NO DOCUMENTS sent to my email for me to sign. I waited an additional day and decided to just cancel my insurance altogether. I called again and they said I need to send a document with my name, policy, date, signature, and reason for canceling. I hang up and immediately type up the document and emailed it to them. I called the next day to confirm but the rep said I need to handwrite the letter. Why didn't they say that the first time?!??! I quickly wrote my cancellation document, email it to them, and called an hour later to confirm they got it. They did and mention to call two days later because of processing. Today, 8/9/19, I call and they say oh you need to wait until Monday 8/12/19 for it to be finalized. It took SIXTEEN days and a lot of phone calls to change my name, to never receiving documents for me to sign, and to cancel my policy. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT GO WITH VERN INSURANCE. With my name spelled wrong for half of the time and no insurance card sent to me at all, I would like my money fully refunded but with their horrible service, I just want to get away immediately and not have to deal with them anymore.

Normally i don't write reviews but in this case to save anyone from making the same mistake i did, i will absolutely review and share my experience. This company is flawed, dishonest and extremely sketchy. Last month I had talked with an agent about getting liability insurance. She was kind and walked me through all of the steps. I had recently got a DUI and needed Sr-22 insurance to reinstate my license. She told me she put in the information regarding the violation and the added insurance. We agreed on a first time payment of $265 which is typical and then each monthly payment after that being $81 and some change sounds great right? i agreed to the terms and set up an automatic payment. so going into the second month once my license was reinstated i emailed a copy to my agent and all was good. I did not hear from her after that. as it came for my 2nd months bill to be due i noticed there was a LARGE amount taken out of my checking account. Instead of the $81 in which i agreed too they had pulled out $150. furious and confused i emailed her to contact me right away and explain what is going on. no reply. messaged her again an hour later letting her know the urgency and still no reply. So I called Vern Fonk, no one there could seem to help me and i kept being transferred to other departments before they transferred me to National General which was the company they chose for my insurance to go through. As i waited 15mins for someone to pick up i was emailing my agent AGAIN trying to get a reply. still nothing. Once i got to someone with National General they told me that because of my violation that's what changed my rate. I explained to them that my agent told me that would not effect the rate i was quoted at nor did anyone inform me of the change so the $150 they pulled out was not authorized by me and needs to be reimbursed. They refused to listen to anything i was saying or figure out a solution all they did was say they were transferring me to my agent with vern fonk to help me.. as if i hadn't already been trying to get a hold of her. so they transfer me... i sit on hold for 20MINS! listening to a freakin dial tone that never stopped before i hung up. emailed her again still no response and decided FORGET IT! and looked for insurance else where. Decided on GEICO who ended up giving me a great rate and discounts. They emailed me a document that i could forward to vern fonk and National General to get the money they took out reimbursed i sent this to the agent at vern fonk and explained my disappointment for the lack of communication. Still no reply, go figure. I then called National general to get an email when i could send the document to them as well. I did so and they told me they would send documentation of the cancellation and the reimbursement. Ask me if i got either? NOPE. so called again today emailed them about 4 times along with my agent second day now and no response. I have now decided that i am going to report this to the better business bureau for the lack of integrity and professionalism BOTH of these companies have shown me and also put in a dispute with my bank for the money they took out of my account. wish me luck, if nothing changes im surely not afraid to turn this into a LEGAL matter, and for the sake of anyone reading this and figuring out whether or not to use Vern Fonk or National General I say RUN! DONT DO IT! THEY WILL SCREW YOU!!! IF I COULD I WOULD RATE A BIG FAT ZERO!! nuff said.

The worst. After being with them for over 3 years I realized they were constantly over charging me. When I brought it to thier attention they were snippy and I cancelled my policy. They continue to charge me so now I have lawyered up and am sueing. Have a great day!

I have had numerous insurance policies thru the Everett Vern Fonk Insurance agency. R.C. GREEN is my agent. My first policy was for my 18 year old son 8 years ago who needed special insurance because of his driving record. R.C. is very a very dedicated insurance agent. He is honest and upfront with the needed information about the available insurance policies. He is very kind and empathetic to the circumstances. He is a very detailed oriented agent who ALWAYS returns phone calls and emails promptly. He definitely found the best rate for this type of automobile insurance. In 2016 my wife and I purchased a house in Eastern Washington that was one of the few houses in the area to survive a a wild fire in 2012 because of fire proof construction building materials. Our house survived but the neighbors house burned to the ground. Even though the house survived we needed specialty insurance thru Lloyd's of London because of the fire zone where the house is located. R.C. worked very diligently to go thru all the hoops to get this homeowners policy. Like before he ALWAYS returned every phone call and email very quickly. It was crucial to get this policy for our house. R.C. took the process to completion and we got the homeowners policy that we needed at a fair price for this type of risk insurance. I cannot say enough about the Vern Fonk Everett office. And the same for R.C. Green. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in need of an honest, informed, diligent, and detail oriented meticulous insurance agent. On a 5 Star rating scale I give R.C. Green and the Everett Vern Fonk Insurance office a......6.......!! Dr. Johnson

I do not typically write reviews but I am absolutely disgusted with the way I was just talked to by my "agent" I called last Friday, asking about my SR-22 that was no longer needed, was told it wouldn't really affect my policy rate, but she said she would shop around since I haven't had anything on my record in the past 3 years. Called today to follow up since I had not heard anything and she said that I have been calling her multiple times regarding this, when in fact my follow up phone call was almost 1 week later and was my second call to their office. She said "You don't need to call here everyday, your not due for renewal until May" I am aware I am not due for renewal until May, however she is the one that offered to shop around to try and find me a better rate, but snaps at me when I am following up on my policy. I do not recommend having Tony as your agent.

Make sure you know what you're getting. They gave me insurance with something I didn't even ask for. I checked and it was like an extra $200! I just wanted the cheapest insurance. By the time I figured it out, I was told I couldn't get a refund because it was too late. My friend told me to use Vern Fonk Insurance, but this place is shady and wasted so much of my money. I'd rather go somewhere else and spend more money with someone I can trust.

I wanted to get a quote with Vern Fonk before moving forward with my current agency which I felt was quoting me too high. I signed up for a free quote online and sent an email to my assigned agent, Andrea. When Andrea failed to respond for about 4 hours, I called her. She informed me she was with another client and would call me back in 30 minutes. I sat around my home for an entire day, unable to drive my uninsured new vehicle, missing work and picking up the kids from school. It has been 24 hours since contacting Andrea and she has yet to return my email or phone call. As someone who did not have an alternative means of transportation, Vern Fonk has only made my situation more stressful. I never take time to write product or business reviews, but I feel strongly and hope my review deters other prospective clients.
