LEGIT THE WORST BANK. I just tried to deposit a check into my account paid out to my husband (which I’ve done numerous times) and today they decide they want to say that they can’t. If this is a rule then it should be a standard across ALL navy federals. My husband was leaving today and signed the back of the check and agreed that it goes to my account and they still said no. Definitely felt like I was being accused of fraudulent activity because I am a woman and I’m black. I’’m upset and will be closing my account and banking elsewhere. I ended up depositing it into his account at the same time just to prove to the “banker” that it was no fraud. Why the hell would I risk my military career my freedom my child’s livelihood behind a check, THAT MAKES NO SENSE. They need to be Inspected because what’s the point if you’re not willing to help a dual military family!!!

My mom is an account holder here and needed me to deposit a check. I raced there to arrive at 5:26 hoping they really close at 5:30. I was out by 8:26. Since I wasn't an account holder I had to provide ID but it took only two minutes to complete the process! Impressed with their service!

Unlike the 1 star experience above, I have always had a easy time with any transactions here. No crowd, minimal talk unless I engaged, pulled money out of a CD, made a credit card payment in person to them (never did that in person before). Each NFCU has its own personality, and this one is for people like me.

What a nice and friendly branch. I went in with an overly complicated transaction that I knew would take at least 30 minutes to explain and address and Marisol, an amazing team member there that day was extremely patient as I explained my situation she took care of my issue in less than 10 minutes with the most pleasant attitude I've seen in a while. Thank you Marisol everybody at the Smokey Point branch.

Absolutely no respect for their veterans. Make the process of getting anything done so difficult you want to (and in my case I did) give up on the process. As soon as I pay off my two NFCU credit cards I'm closing all my accounts after 26 years with them.

Navy Fed is a fantastic credit union! I've been with them for about 5 years now, they've proven time and time again just how wonderful they are. My debit card and credit card was stole and Navy Federal detected the suspicious activity immediately, before I even know what had happen! I've had a few auto loans through them and received great terms. Every time I talk to them on the phone or visit a branch I always receive a professional and friendly person. They give you many options in regards to managing your accounts and the app is absolutely the best banking app I've ever used! I HIGHLY recommend them.

Not satisfied on being turned down to finance my new jeep with them. i have been a member for over 35 years. I have a good record of paid loans and paid off home equity line of credit. I have a steady income, and have served overseas on 4 military bases. There is no other reason except qualified loan officers do not make these decisions any longer. Only machines and figures decide. you are just a name on a paper. Also, Navy Fed does no longer counsel financially stressed people. It is outsourced.

Extremely helpful and happy to help houers fall a little short of desired but its on a navy bace so not alot that can be done about that.
