I’ve paid off many cars and have had to go through all different types of banks for my loans. This one in particular has been really great and offered a low interest rate. They are very friendly and conveniently located. Drive through for banking and inside banking as well. The online site does charge about $10+ for paying online, and over the phone, so I usually go inside and pay. I like this place overall. Would recommend

Really nice anytime I’ve been in person but really rude anytime I’ve talked to them over the phone. This is been a consistent thing for 4 years +

Friendliest tellers around north Everett. Great bank, I use them because of the credit union network, my bank is pretty far from home so I can go there like its my normal bank

Don’t get a loan here. They overcharge, they are demeaning and they will say everything is your fault even when it is actually their fault. If you do decide to bank with them then keep ALL documentations- including receipts of payments so when they try to say you didn’t pay you have the proof on your side.

I’ve called maybe 3/4 times since starting my loan in 2021 with them, due to their website blocking payments. Every single time, the representatives have been nothing but rude, snarky, and more. The last woman I spoke to from there (today, actually) was treating me like I was stupid, even after telling her MULTIPLE times the error code I was being given, and that all of my info was in fact, correct.I will be switching loan companies as soon as I can refinance my auto loan. It’s not customer friendly in the slightest if your employees treat your customers like garbage over the phone.

It’s always interesting/entertaining to read other peoples reviews on a place, and almost all of the negative reviews are based on the reviewers own problems and mistakes, and are not reflective of the actual business ??♀️ Things like your credit score or history with other credit unions, or your lack of financial responsibility have nothing to do with Mountain Crest Credit Union, or their associates. A review of a business should be related to how the company treats it’s customers and provides whatever service it is responsible for.We have held car loans with MCCU for several years, and have never had issues with customer service or judgmental and condescending behavior from its associates. I call in our payment every single month and speak with one of the three employees that that usually answer calls, and they always pick up immediately, and are very pleasant and helpful. The one aspect of their business that can be quite irritating, is the barrage of phone calls each member of the account receives on their personal phone, as well as their workplace, if they are only a few days late on a payment. They will call you in the morning and the night, and every single day after that, until they get ahold of you, or you make the payment. I understand WHY they do this, but the grace period should be a little bit longer, and reflective of that members past payment history. If we have been customers for several years, are never more than 7 days late on a payment (for whatever reason), and always honor our commitment on the debt, then I don’t think we should be treated like irresponsible or “risky” customers.I am not a person of color, nor am I in a relationship with a person of color, but I have never observed any mistreatment to others by MCCU, based on their race. This is not saying that they don’t, but I have never personally seen it. If those claims are true, I hope those individuals take the necessary actions, and provide proof that it is happening. That is never acceptable and should be addressed and resolved in order to make real changes within our society. All that to say, Mountain Crest Credit Union should not be “avoided like the plague”, in my opinion. I believe they offer competitive rates and excellent customer service.I DO think that the member website needs improvement and made more user friendly.

This place is very racist. It should be called White People's Credit Union.

I had my car loan through mountain crest credit union for the last year and throughout that time the customer service had been lacking, however that's not the reason why I chose to transfer my loan to another bank. I received a letter in the mail stating that my insurance needed to be updated with mountain crest per the agreements for my car loan (there was an issue with my insurance agent sending the info over). The letter I received was from mountain crest credit unions insurance service center. I called the number and updated my insurance information. I then asked a question about my loan and they informed me that I needed to be transferred to the loan department, which they transferred me to.. however, the number that I was transferred to was not the loan department but was a $100 free gift card center that wanted my credit card information. I asked if I was speaking with the loan department and they were confused and said no, it was some free gift card center... I called the insurance service center who had initially transferred me and they gave me a phone number (877) 601-0001 which was supposed to be the loan department. They transferred me again to the same scam phone number and I then hung up and called the number that was given to me.. the same gift card center picked up. They had no answers for me at the branch and were incredibly rude to me when I told them about what happened. I do not recommend this credit union. In fact, I just switched my loan to BECU and they are amazing! My interest rate was cut in half and I have had the best service! Highly recommend switching to BECU!

Biden privatized deal when you don’t have insurance. Over $1,000 for a month’s coverage, AFTER I reinstated with another company. Because they failed to provide paperwork I needed to sign. Then said I owed & canceled. So instead of $1,200 for a year. The BS insurance they got was $1,000 for 30 days. So $2,200 for 13mos coverage.

Unfortunately, MountainCrest either hasn't been around long enough to mature into a higher end credit union or they don't care enough about customer service. I closed out an auto loan last month and they still auto drafted my payment the month after. Called in and rep said 'oh yeah, you need to cancel that out on your end' (no one mentioned this, and it should absolutely be automatic that if an account is paid and closed off that ETF is cancelled). I asked her to do this and she said I needed to log in to my online account to do this. So I did, begrudgingly (I called customer service, why can't she do this?). Then I asked her to mail the check to me. 'Is this your current address?' No, I say. 'Please change your address in online account access'. I have no idea why she couldn't take care of even the most basic things without inconveniencing me. I've banked with BECU for years and used MountainCrest for this one auto loan. After seeing how BECU prioritizes customer service and making things easy, I'll never open an account with any other credit union again.

The quality of service is atrocious, basically instead of coming to a solution they blame everything on you.

This credit union has handled our motorhome loan horribly. Their loan officers are rude and not helpful at all. Refused to work with us on what should have been a simple matter. I do not recommend any get a loan through them.

Love this credit union! Have had my account with them for several years and have never had an issue. Twice I have needed to do shared branching transactions and do to my work schedule, could not get to the credit union during business hours. Imagine my delight when I called and was told I could do it on the phone!! Name one bank with customer service like that.

They are the sweetest - they always explain things, don't rush, and are nice to my little puppy. I give 4 stars and not 5 because the website is a little tough to use. They fix that up, make it easier for me to pay online, and I will change that rating to a 5!
