I took my car in to be serviced by midas twice in last 2 plus years for pad and rotor issues in rear brakes. Little over 20,000 miles. 2nd time they also said calipers and emergency brake was sized up. Talked with master mechanic with Ford and he said it sounded like they didn't properly activate maintenance mode on emergency brakes. That would cause both of those issues. My bill went from 440 dollars to 1200 dollars. They didn't even show me bad parts. I was so frustrated I didn't ask. That's on me. No way brakes should be wearing out after 20000 miles. Would not make recommendations to anyone to use these guys.

This review is about the Everett mall way Midas location, and the management team, Joe, and James. 1. I came in with a heating issue in my Honda Accord. I left my car with Joe on Sat. 11/18/23. Joe told me he would get in touch with me by end of day to let me know what was going on. No call. And the shop was closed Sunday. 2. Monday evening, I receive a call from Joe, saying the thermostat is sealed over, and before they can do any further diagnostic work, they need to replace it. 150 dollars. I ok the repair. An hour later, get a call saying there is still no heat, and the heater core is likely plugged. 1460 dollar repair. I tell Joe I need to think about it. The next morning at 9am, I speak to James, and ok the repair. James tells me my car will have the work started that morning, Tuesday the 21st, and will be done wednesday evening at the latest. I say ok, and we end the call. 3. I call Wednesday Morning, to check on the status of the repair. Joe answers, and tells me the repair just got started this morning, but assured me the repair would be complete by end of day, 6pm. I get another call around 5pm from Joe, saying the repair isn't done, and won't be done tonight. At this point I am irate. I ask what they are going to do to compensate me for the inconvenience, because at this point, I won't have my car for Thanksgiving travel, and won't have it for Black Friday shopping. Joe tells me he is sorry for the inconvenience, and will "try" to do something about the cost. 4. Friday afternoon, 11/24/23 I call Midas to check the status of the repair. James answers the phone, and immediately puts me on hold. 10 minutes later, he hangs up, without getting back to me. I was livid. I called to get a ride to come into the shop, and found that no work had been done on my car at all, as the technician "called in sick". I asked to speak to Joe. Joe called in sick as well. Why wasn't I notified immediately that no one was available to work on my vehicle? Why did I have to drive in after BEING HUNG UP ON to learn this? Today, 11/25/23, a full week after dropping it off,a call from Joe in the afternoon. He tells me he is going to give me 10% off parts and labor for the inconvenience. That is a joke. 10% is an incentive to bring in new business on the fence. Not for addressing a serious grievance/inconvenience. I asked for both the Owners number, and the district managers number, and he would not give it to me. Said he didn't have it. They disrespected me, they disrespected my time, and they destroyed trust I had in Midas spanning 20 years of repairs. These two are total Charlatans, and I will not be bringing my vehicle back to Midas again after this.

They have always gone above and beyond for us! We had a dead battery and they were kind enough to come and help me jump our van to bring it over and get the battery replaced as well as an oil change while it was there. The work always gets done promptly and we are kept informed of the progress during the entire process.

We came with our Chevy Malibu they said the repairs would cost FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS, we paid them only to get a car in WORSE SHAPE THAN ITS EVER BEEN. It cut off COMPLETELY with our whole family in the car going 50 MPH. It has NEVER done that!! We brought it in because it was driving shaky. When we brought it back he told us to take it to the dealership, and offered us NO REFUND whatsoever. Took our money. messed the car up MORE, and NO sympathy FOR RISKING OURS AND OUR CHILDS LIVES!!! If you value your health and safety take your car ELSEWHERE. Joe, James ALL OF THEM ARE TRASH.

After a long car ride I stop at the Spirit store next door. They didn't have a bathroom. Popped into Midas and nicely asked to used the restroom. The manager told me no. I explained that is was an emergency. He yelled at me that "people like you are the reason I don't have a public bathroom!" People like me?! Women who come in and nicely ask to use the toilet because they have a small bladder? I will NEVER be a customer at your store sir. Wish I could give you no stars.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. This is late as I forgot to leave a review. This is for "Joe". I told him I had an issue with my heating not working (hvac) in my car. Long story short, they worked on the issue and when I came to pick up the car they said they'd fixed it. I paid and went out to my car and still had no heat. Wouldn't refund my money either. I then received a text message from Joe a year later, not sure why. Wouldn't recommend this location to anyone, ever. Scam artists.

Before the rainy season, I took my Nissan Rogue truck for service at the Everett branch, they did the inspection and details came out that I didn't know it had, I changed the oil, the brakes and other details that they suggested. It was a long wait, but in the end the work turned out very well. Later I decided to take another Chevrolet truck for inspection and maintenance. Good service, you have to call first to have an appointment.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

We got our brakes inspected. The inspection was done in a timely manner, for a good price, but what you can't buy is the friendly advice and banter, which you definitely get here! We will be back!

So, I went in to get the relay for the blower motor fixed ended up needing the whole bit replaced. They did the work, but getting the piece into the shop is poorly managed. What my uncle told me is at most a 45 minute job took about 4 hours. This wasn't the store's fault but is an inefficiency in process. While I was there, they ran out of a common oil filter. If everyone's making appointments, wouldn't it make sense to order most of the parts ahead of time then send back excess? Seems like that could be something to fix systemically to provide quicker service. They were under the estimate, but still quite a bit more than Amazon quotes the parts for. Oh well, I have cool and hot air again. Everyone was friendly, and the assistant manager ended up going to get my part once it was discovered they only had one guy driving parts around from the warehouse. That was good.

I’ve been dealing with the manager Joe and another manager (forgot his name) and they were both rude and unprofessional. I brought my car in for a misfire and paid $1,500.00 but now the misfire is worst. The check engine light is still on and my car is shaking really bad when I start the car, when I am at a stop sign or at a stop light stalling. I told Midas about it and they said it was the O2 sensor. It has caused me to take it into two different repair shops for them to tell me that they won’t touch it because it was just serviced by Midas a few weeks ago. Both places have ran full checks and said that it is NOT the O2 sensor at all.PLEASE SAVE YOURSELVES THE TIME, MONEY AND HEADACHE FROM COMING HERE!! YOU WILL THANK ME EITHER WAY.

Dropped off my car for oil change, service was quick and efficient. But manager Joe behavior was rude. His attitude towards customers is not warm. Asst manager James was patient and helped understanding service details, cost etc. They will only do wheel alignments for older cars before 2015. They should consider cars after 2015 as well.

I was turned away because they didn't think they could repair my tire with a screw in it. Said I had to go buy a new one. I immediately went to Les Schwab and they expertly fixed my tire for free. Oil and tire rotation is the only service they are good at at this Midas location.
