This is the worst place I have ever gone to for highlites and a trim. This woman went through about 4 different personalities in a 2 hour period. Then she had the nerve to first charge me $225 and then changed it to $315 because of the hair trim! Really? $90 for a hair trim? Blow it out, your ##s! It is a dirty little shop, with very old decor. Doller Tree tacky! She has a 4 station salon, but she can not get along with others, so they remain unrented! I know people who could not work with her, and ALL walked out on her. She has a major chip on her shoulder and is a hater to women with success. I had mentioned we were going to Jazz Alley that evening, so she decided to charge me a price I might have paid for in an upscale salon in Seattle, but there.....? Dream on you low life looser. Update... My hair looks awful. The absolute worst color I have ever had done to my hair and the condition she left it in is soon bad. I think she buys her product from TEMU. She is a cheapskate and has NO PERSONALITY. AVOID THIS PLACE! There are many other pleasant salons that treat your HAIR without the DRAMA!

Went in because my daughter needed her hair cut before school. They don't have a price for kids(tweens) even if their hair is long. Took about an hour or so to get it layered. She took her time. The woman who cut my daughters hair was really friendly but this place is a little pricey. The price I was quoted at was $59. Got charged $69. Could've argued but I really wanted to leave only because I'm impatient. Probably not going back. It's clean and they probably do amazing work but not for me or my daughter.

I'll start by saying I've never Yelped before and I ... Like most women... Am extremely picky about my hair. Venturing out & trying new places/things is very hard for me. Last fall I had sadly gotten to the point with my hairstylist that I felt a change was needed. I decided to try this Salon blindly because other tactics (referrals, research...) Seemed to not be working. And boy am I glad I stepped out of my normal routine!!! I went all in & set up a foil & cut with Ariel and now 3 haircuts & 2 foils later I COULD NOT be happier!!! She takes her time & really listens to what you want & also as an added bonus gives the best scalp massage ever! I get compliments on my hair now from complete strangers... That has never happened to me... To sum this up... One very satisfied customer...

I came to Ishmi 20+ years ago ,she was working for someone else @ the time. I then had hair past bottom terrified to let anyone ruin!! she did such an amazing job{dbl conditioning to keep soft} to minimize breakage a spiral perm may make. Since then I was in a hurry attempted few months ago let son get cut elsewhere, and leaving for 2wk vacation the day after. was in tears how bad sons hair was and to trust person w/perm the next day had stomach in knots came to Ishmi told of my issue "she stayed and took care of my perm [again to bottom] late after closing to keep from ruining my vacation.....
