Bought 2 gift cards at the same time, one for Sephora, one for Nordstrom, from Fred Meyer in March, both cards had zero balance. Fred Meyer told me to call Nordstrom, per Nordstrom gift card been used for on- line order, it's a scam, Neither Nordstrom or Fred Meyer taken any action, responsibility, pointing fingers to each other. Fred Meyer told me to call Nordstrom, Nordstrom refer back to Fred Meyer.Neither company willing reimburse customer for transaction. I requested open fraud case, so far nothing happened.

First off it's pretty sad that your forced to give 1 star when they don't deserve none at this location.I was lied to upon being hired even the ad online was a life if it had of said the job was partime I wouldn't have applied.my start Date and hire date is both incorrect and for 6 months I was coming threw the emplyie door under another emplyee and they only caught it because I was tring to figer out why my checks contuied to not be accurate a fill in lady for payroll is the one that caught it and fixed it and the check stubs are the worst I've ever seen and the people that wrote the review on jermy to answer your question yeah he is a manager you woud of known that if he was wearing hi name tag witch is a corporate policy witch him a other only follow when there about inspectionbut something hedget in trouble for and the reason I said bogus is because a real true and rightful inspection would be them coming without notice and if they did that 3 quarters of the stuff going on wouldn't be and the best time for customers and employee that do ther job is when they come up to 12 hours after I know when there coming by the transforming of the ones that any ither time all they do is committed the theft of company time and the sick part is the knowing that a manager anit right and when they get to many complaints you customers assume they got let go no. They just move them to another location and send another manger to clean up there mess 2 be contnied...

Employees are extremely rude. When I asked for help call all I got was attitude. Retail jobs are customer service jobs which also includes helping customers. I'm not sure who runs those employees in that Fred Meyer but they all need a serious retraining program. How to do a customer service job properly. I understand some of it because that store gets a lot of issues. But also they don't need to be running around and treating every single customer like they're not important. Customers are what keeps stores open otherwise there wouldn't be a store if there was no one to shop it . Unprofessional.

Security guy with cowboy hat followed me and accused me of stealing while using my own shopping bags. What a joke but lets people who actually steal and run out the door. This store needs to be focused on all the people who are buying, using, and selling drugs in your parking lot.

I went to use the restroom before I shopped and it was closed due to drug activity. Which is not why I am leaving this review, that is out of our control.Christine from the electronics department walked up to me when I called for the restroom code, looked me up and down and said “yeah, no”. Then, when I go to grab a cart I grab one from the wrong stack and she says “are you kidding me”.I was doing an Instacart order and I go to complete my order and I mention something at the checkout. A bagger goes to assist me with going to the restroom. Christine sees us and then yells at us for going because it’s out of order for drug use. Neither of us knew this prior. Christine spoke to us so disrespectfully that the other employee became defensive rightfully so and said “you don’t need to come at me like that”.Then as I was leaving the store Christine walks passed me and makes an audible angry “hurumph” noise at me. I mentioned I was going to place a complaint and she dared me to.I have called the store and placed a complaint, and I am following up with this review. I understand the bathroom circumstance is out of our control, but you can’t treat people that way.Incident occurred around 6:35 pm 2/10/2024I have been a loyal Fred Myer customer for the last 30 years and have never experienced this amount of blatant and unapologetic disrespect.

I rarely leave reviews but this company has really really gone to hell. I have spent the last 1 hour 47 minutes trying to resolve a computer problem with my rewards card. Apparently Fred Meyer only hires 3rd party out of country customer service companies. It is not that I care about this other than many of the ones I have spoken to today only have a rudimentary understanding of English. Unfortunately my problem is complicated & so after explaining what the problem is they put my on hold for several minutes only to tell me that they will need a day or so to solve it. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Does Fred Meyer ie. Kroger's think I have all the time in the world to get help. I am not sure what to do now. They have screwed up my account & my kids accounts. Why is there NO ONE in the U.S. who can help. Such a waste of my valuable time.

Stopped by to buy 3 items and the produce guy was friendly and said good morning which caught me by surprise and said to myself wow customer service here is better!Then the Starbucks senior lady was neutral but ok and the younger lady was very nice.Went to pay and the self check out near Starbucks needed assistance but wasn’t getting any so I walked further to see an open cashier and noticed they had another section for self check out. Here is when things got interesting.There was a senior guy and I asked if the registers were open to which he said yes and pointed out to one of them as if that was the only one functioning. As I was paying the card reader wasn’t saying “take card back” so I asked him for help, he came over and I thanked him to which he said nothing back. I didn’t think much really.5 minutes later as I was leaving, he said thank you and I thanked him back and then he said: you dropped your straw which I didn’t notice until he mentioned it. As soon as he said that I walked back to pick it up and said it is garbage now (meaning: it is dirty and can’t use it anymore) and tossed it on the garbage pin.As I was already walking back picking it up he had the nerve to say on rude tone: “it doesn’t take that much to pick it up” as if I was a dirty uneducated person who intentionally left it behind. To which I said: I didn’t noticed it fell off until you mentioned it. Thanks for letting me know. He said nothing at after that.It was really upsetting the level of prejudice amongst some individuals. But what else can you expect? It doesn’t take a degree or a special skills to be a nice person. I thought if anyone cares about customer service here, trying to “lecture” customers on not realistic issues isn’t pleasant.

The electronics department is janky. I tried to price match a game that we could find online that 3 stores offered it for 29.99 vs fred meyers 39.99, the blonde manager who “helped” was no help and condescending. We pulled up on the websites to show them the price and they said we needed a code that we couldn’t find on any of the website. she said we could go take of picture of the price if that’s the case. Is that not what the online price’s basically are?!
