I actually had no idea how this place operated. They are really amazing and work with other shelters to get their pets adopted out! Their prices for adoption are reasonable, the staff I met were all great, and the animals they had were well cared for and loved. If I adopt a pet, I will go through the Everett Animal Shelter!

Filled out all the forms for an adoption and didn’t hear back from anyone. Everytime I call nobody answers.

They changed their viewing rules because of Covid, even though animals don’t get Covid. LOL. I took my boys to go look at some potential cats to adopt, and they stopped us before we could even go in. Told us that they don’t allow people to view the animals anymore because it put stress on them. That is hilarious because if you ask me, the only reason the animals are stressed out in the first place is because they’re in cages waiting to die. This place is horrible.. And it’s very sad that a person cannot adopt without looking at the website first. They should just shut this place down. I’ll be going to Noah. At least they treat the animals with respect.

I recommend going if you're looking for a pet . Help a shelter animal it is definitely worth it. They've already been fixed , they've had their vaccines. And the joy you get from saving a poor animal is an amazing feeling checking out the animals dogs or cats. Staff is friendly. And anyone who may be thinking about getting rid of their pet please bring it to the shelter before you just leave it outside and let nature take its course

So I adopted a little dog called Maynard, now called Kai. He is a terror terrier. He barks incessently at the neighbors and my cats are now living on the roof. He has bit the guy working on my deck and one of the kids clearing blackberries. He won't go on walks or in the car. He is now under the bed because I got the leash out or something. He is 3 plus years old and just learning to sit. Come, stay, no are not in his language

We adopted a cat-turned out to be a biting scratching cat. It wasn’t disclosed on the paperwork. We lost out on 300$ because we had to return it. I will never use this shelter again. We deserve a refund. The cat drew blood on my mom, son, baby and myself and husband.

We called to drop off my cat and we were immediately told that “we can’t drop him off without a probable reason”. The lady working the phone tried to lecture us.

This place is a joke. Went to adopt a puppy filled out the paperwork being truthful and got denied because I have a dog at my house already that's not fixed. They say they have a policy on it but I had no idea. Also no one said anything about it. Was really sad seeing the other people denied for the same thing. So just a heads up with these people don't be upfront and truthful you'll get denied. Instead lie on the app and tell them your animals are fixed. How sad to deny someone over that hahaha what a joke of a policy
