They are very rude to everyone. When I left, I witnessed one of the mechanics screaming to an old man it was very disrespectful and horrible.

Be aware that the inspections are intended to sell your products in order to get approved. In my case they told me that My car did not have spare tire.Itold them I did have one they then said they could not get to it..AND IF I WANT TO GET MY INSPECTION APPROVED I NEED TO BUY A FLAT TIRE REPSIR KIT VERY COSTLY...did not wanted to argued with them..Iwas surprise that they are not honest doing the city requirements..Be CAREFUL AND GO SOME PLACE ELSE.

Sloppy eye-ball inspections. Surprised of the lack of standardization by the city/Uber/Lyft.

Everyone who worked here - from the front desk to the mechanics - was incredibly kind, swift and efficient. They helped get me in within a half hour for a pre-purchase inspection and gave me lots of info about what they found. I'd called around to 4 different mechanics for both a pre-purchase inspection and a quote for work done and they were the most affordable, too. You can also tell the coworkers care about each other. This is a well-run business with heart. Thanks!

Emily's Garage is one of the Seattle city-approved vehicle safety inspection mechanics. They offer ASE-certified TNC inspections, pre-buyer inspections, diagnostic services, and general car inspections. They have three locations - Everett, Tacoma, and Burien. For the vehicle safety inspection, I didn't have to make an appointment. It was fine to do a walk-in. When I visited Emily's Garage, there was a customer who was pretty upset with the repairs and the cost. I was able to hear what the customer had to go through but I would not comment on that as I have limited information. From my experience of getting my vehicle inspected, I was very surprised at how quickly they were able to complete the vehicle inspection. It was done in less than 2 minutes, and I paid over $50 for that service. For comparison, when I had my vehicle inspected at Les Schwab Tire Centers in Portland, they spent over 20 minutes to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and the cost for the inspection was only $20. Will I re-visit Emily's Garage for the vehicle inspection? Probably not but if the state requires me to get the vehicle inspection done, I will probably have no choice as there are not that many shops that offer the ASE-certified inspection.

I reached out for a quote on some repair work for my car, not only was it half of what the dealership quoted, they were able to get my car in and out the next day. Dee at the front desk was very helpful and kind despite the fact I called at least four times with questions, I'll definitely be coming back for any future work

From first glance I thought to my self, it’s been a long time since I saw a great approach to the customer service. I was waiting in line while the person on the phone ( I hope I’m not mistaken his name VIKTOR ) spent at least good 15-20 minutes to answer all the questions that he received from the customer over the phone, I never spotted on his face that Viktor tried to get rid of him, he was so nice and patient, explaining every detail about the process of customers car to make sure that they will pass the inspection and man he did it so well that I could wait for another hour to enjoy it!!!Great job VIKTOR!!!

One of the bad experience I ever had to go there , especially their crews was really non professional, Actually seems like they don’t wanted to work , and since I was sitting there there were two Uber driver just showed up and they way they treated them was totally humiliating. I would say Uber and the owners should have keen eye on their business

We had a leak in our car's roof and they a great job fixing it. They cleaned and dried out all of the interior that had been soaked and had water damage. Their work was thorough and effective.

I was a little nervous to come here, because I know little to nothing about cars. When I showed up, the front desk associate (Dee, I think) was kind and efficient. The mechanic who worked with me was also kind and took me into the garage to show me on my car where the issues were so that I could visualize them. He also was very specific in describing how dire my problems were (i.e. the xyz fluid doesn't need to be replaced for another 10,000 miles so you don't need to panic about it).I had to make an appointment to get my car fixed because I needed a long service. There was no pressure to schedule the new appointment at the exact moment that I picked up my car. They gave me a sheet with all the issues and the prospective prices so I could do the math and decide what I could afford. When I called, the woman at the front desk remembered me and got me scheduled for the services I chose with no problem; I got my service and everything went without a hitch.Several days later, I noticed a problem with my car related to my service, and I called Dee to tell her. She told me to bring my car in and they fixed the issue that day, free of charge.Overall, for a person as scared of mechanics as I am, this was a refreshing experience. I will continue to take my car to Emily's Garage and enjoy the kind employees who understood this can be a stressful experience for your average person.

They're fine, but there's no restrooms anywhere in a quarter mile radius and it's an awkward loud annoying location. You can hear the mechanics screaming and yelling in the bay behind the glass, making fun of customers, cussing, etc.Reasonable prices, good communication, bad attitude.

I went in for a vehicle inspection for Lyft/Uber. They have the best price in town, not only that but they do it in a more timely manner than any other shop. They only charge $45, compared to a $60 minimum, and only 15 minutes to do the inspection.

I took my car to Emily's for a transmission checkup today 10-19-23 because the service department at Kendal Subaru stated my Crosstrek/Hybrid transmission is no good and that I needed a new replacement. At Emily's, the master mechanic reviewed the transmission and reported the fluid had been recently replaced. Moreover, the car was checked for code P0B0B that could not be located in the car's computer as it was the focus of my concern when the check engine light came on in September. The master mechanic at Emily's reported no concern about the transmission needing additional service. I strongly advice you to pay Emily's Garage a visit for an honest car service. Thank you, Emily's, for an honest service and peace of mind.

I don’t have an option to give 0 rating for this center. The lady at the front office has Heights of attitude and not a customer focused, rude. But was surprised to see her giggling with other customer. Seems like a racist to me .Though you don’t go to this center often, I would recommend to think twice as everyone would expect some courtesy as a customer. Better stay away if you don’t want to spoil your mood for rest of the day
