Delayed UPDATE 9/10/24:
Updating from 2 to 5 stars. Had some really good follow-up with the Service and Parts Director Rob E. regarding some disconnects.
The service team, Kai the multi-tasking expert took care of the seatbelt issue by ordering a new unit that was installed. They also replaced and reinstalled the light bar to the truck specs vs the install instructions which were incorrect. Awesome job there.
The never ending accessories issues just continues. The tonneau cover that was separating at the ends was also handled on a subsequent visit. Rob offered a few options: Warranty the entire cover for a new one with the manufacturer, or return it. I chose option 1 - warranty it for a new cover. 2 weeks for the new one to arrive. Reinstalled and all was good.
It’s been about a month with this replacement and unbelievably the ends are again separating. The accessories sold by GM are poorly made, at least the ones that I’ve purchased. So now I am back to square one on this crappy tonneau cover with the same issue. I’ve reached out to the GM store’s CS to figure out a resolution but they redirected me back to the dealership…of which I have not yet contacted. Frustrated and tired of the lack of quality with these accessories, all I want now is to just return the damn thing and be done with it.

Sales Experience:
Brand new truck purchased on 7/1. That was an ordeal in itself with issues that were so completely unexpected but was ultimately resolved. Alex and Jennifer were great during the process. I have to give a complete special shout-out to Hector who literally saved the sale. There was this one person with over ‘25 years of experience’ (M.C.) who almost single handed killed the sale after having to spend 10 minutes with him. I was ready to end the deal and head off to buy a Toyota.
Service Experience:
Literally in the first week of owning this new truck, I had to bring it back for a seat belt retractor issue - it is now waiting on a replacement unit. In the interim I had also purchased a rear LED light-bar from the GMC accessories website. Paid for installation and turned out the bar was defective after installation - found out after I drove home. It was out of spec and was catching on the tail-gate every time you needed to close it. So instead of replacing with a new bar that could’ve been ordered from their Sumner WA warehouse (1 day), it was addressed thru the light-bar manufacturer and is now awaiting delivery from FL. Why would you not just replace it with a new one in stock at your local warehouse instead of making the customer wait for almost 2 weeks. Any type of warranty could’ve been handled AFTER taking care of the customer first. This is a perfect example piss poor CX - Customer Service Experience. Additionally I also purchased an expensive tonneau cover from the GMC website and paid to have it installed at the dealership. This cover is now starting to separate / tear from the lining. I have not yet had a chance to show the dealership because I am waiting on the return trip for the seat belt retractor and light bar replacements. These GM approved and sold accessories have some serious QA problems.
While I understand all of this is not directly the dealerships fault, they do have a responsibility with representing the GM and GMC brand and the customer experience that comes with it. You would think as the brand ambassador, they would try to do everything in their power to make things right in an efficient and convenient manner for the customer. (I can name a bunch of companies that would not make the customer feel like they were doing them a favor by addressing their product issues - yes that is the feeling I get from them.)

I was shopping for a new pickup and determined to compare FORD, RAM and GMC. The local Ford and Ram dealers did not know their product and could not answer basic questions. The staff at Pierre GMC of Everett was very helpful and earned our business. We are now proud owners of a new GMC Denali 2500 HD. A big Thank You to the staff for making our buying experience a great one.

Great experience with our sales advisor, Kira.
She spotted me at closing time outside in the rain looking at trucks and hustled out to see if I had any questions. Started raining harder so I promised to come back the next to test drive a Sierra 1500. Bought the truck from her. Smooth transaction and fast. Kira is super friendly and helpful and I think genuinely wants to make sure you have a top notch experience.

Shop "local" GMC dealers from Renton, Bellevue, Seattle & Everrett as well as Dave Smith in Idaho. They all had similar trucks but very different terms. Without question, Pierre in Everrett offered the best deal and was super easy to work with. Worked with Jay Boniface who was professional and attentive. I think I was in and out of dealership in 45 friction-free minutes.
