Love this shop!
In short, I trust them, they’re kind, and their pricing is super reasonable.
Coming in feels like I’m taking my car in to a long-time friend. Auto-anything is not my strength and the staff always takes time to explain what’s going on (without talking down to me). They give me options that make sense and work with my situation. They’re honest and I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of. And how cool is it they’re local and woman-owned! Highly recommend.

Called for a price on my part that needed fixed. They would NOT quote me over the phone when I specifically needed a certain part replaced! They wanted me to come in to be able to up-charge me when I didn’t need to drive all the way there for something I already KNOW I needed fixed. 1st and LAST time calling! Bad business

First of all off the bat, Love this place! I've had horrible luck with mechanics the past 2 years but this one made up for that 10 fold! I went in last month for work on my car and regular maintenance. I thought I needed 1 thing and they talked me out of it and even showed me I didn't need that work done! They suggested front breaks which I knew I needed and totally forgot about. They quoted me a price and came UNDER QUOTE!!! I also had an oil leak but they wanted me to drive around and come in when more oil is needed. Unfortunately, I can't yet because the oil leak has mysteriously gone away! All of the above is impressive but the thing that impressed me the most was they went above and beyond with customer service!!! They called me, they emailed me and even took pictures of the car and places they wanted me to be aware about!!! The owner made it seem like they personally wanted to take car of me and they did. I even feel bad because I promised to review them but haven't been able to until today. I will definitely be back! You should for sure try them out!!!

I had City Auto Repair perform a presale inspection on a vehicle I was considering purchasing. As I don’t live in the area, Liz went above and beyond with the inspection, making sure I knew exactly what condition the car was in.
Between Liz and her technician, Craig, they did not miss a thing.
Best part? Their online portal allowed me to check in on the inspection in real time.
I did not end up buying the vehicle but 10/10 would go back to City Auto for ANYTHING

This place lies and does shady work. Nothing but a joke. Got them in multiple lies and will be doing everything in my power to get my parents money back. After paying 8k to fix a car the car is worse off then when I brought it in! These people need to be reported for fraud and negligence!

Honestly, the absolute best place I've found in the area. Ive had so many mechanics attempt to add things on that aren't needed, but I never have to worry about that here. 10/10, this is the place to go to get your car fixed!

I've been here twice and both times I received excellent service. The first time I brought my moter home that was overheating. Not a lot of places will take moter homes to start with, because they take up so much space, but also it's a pain to work on. It didn't end up being the radiator like we thought just a bad motor fan. City auto was pretty quick to find the issue and repair it for us so we could get back to camping. City auto also does really great all over vehicles inspections and oil changes. I went in thinking my breaks we're definitely due to be replaced and was happy to hear that they are good to go for a while. I like how you get your quote by text to go to a website to approve. I like how friendly the front desk people and mechanics are. I definitely will be making all my vehicle appointments here.

Wouldn't even attempt to b work with a 3rd party warranty. Lake Stevens Automotive will be getting all my business here on out
You don't have the staff? I shoukd hope a mechanic can send an email. I had it all set up by email to submit the claim. It was even pre-approved by my warranty. My grief comes from not even being willing to take a look. 3rd party warranty? No, we can't. So the only hope is tge dealer who is always booked 3 months out. Y'all are shooting yourselves in the foot and losing a lot of business.

I've lived in WA for 8 years now, and I've searched and searched for a shop that I could be comfortable bringing my car too as a woman who knows nothing about the way cars work. I didn't have a dad to teach me the basics, so I've always been on edge takin my car to different places because I never knew if they were being honest. I finally found a place that I plan on going back too. I am taking a road trip, and I wanted to make sure everything was good before I left. Liz advised they have a pre-trip check and walked me through exactly what the check would entail as well as the pricing. They even squeezed me in on short notice. When I picked my car up George explained to me in detail what looked good and what they found that would eventually need to be replaced. They made my experience amazing and you can just tell they truly care about their customers. Thank you Liz and George! :)
