We’ve taken one of our cats here twice now and have had great visits with a good outcome/advice. I haven’t personally met anyone here as my boyfriend has taken our cat both times but he said everyone is always nice and takes really great care of the animals. We have pet insurance and with that the prices are good as well. We never pay too much afterwards. Would recommend this animal hospital and vet.

Broadway animals hospital. They're very courteously friendly and they take care of all my puppies. I have no complaints.

I started going here during the pandemic. After the pandemic when they opened their doors again I had a bad experience. I brought both of my 45-50 pound dogs as I had done during the pandemic. They took one dog away to run tests. I excused myself to the restroom. When I returned the doctor and the assistant were trying to force my dog to do part of the exam. She was scared and trying to get away. I wasn’t gone long and in hindsight wish I had only brought one dog in at a time but regardless they were manhandling my dog and she was frightened. They asked if she could have peanut butter and I said yes as I calmed her down. I really should have looked for a different vet at this point but I come back a year and a couple months later to May of 2024. I bring my one dog in for a check up and to look at a growth on her knee. Growth was there in 2021 biopsy was clear and was advised if it bothers her or grows to come back. So I advise them I also want them to recheck the growth. Dr. West comes in unprepared as he hasn’t looked at her chart or the notes from the day. Fine but then everything that is an issue he doesn’t have a strong opinion one way or the other. Could be this could be that but doesn’t lead. I feel no confidence in his care when he is unwilling to commit to what may cause the issue with my dogs liver levels. The other issue of the growth he is wushu washy about this too but does say he thinks he should perform surgery. I get a quote for the surgery and they want time to schedule something but I say no and tell them I am getting a second opinion. We have a animal dermatologist. I went to the skin vet today and they quoted me between $780-1025 for the laser bloodless surgery and a test for Cushings. Broadway Animal Hospital wanted $1200 to cut the growth on my dogs leg or $2400 for laser surgery. BAH wanted to automatically give my dog antibiotics after surgery. This should not be standard practice. They wanted to do another blood test even though I had just had a full panel done. Charge me $80 for a bandage. Skin vet says my pup won’t even need a bandage. On the other hand when I brought my other dog in a couple days later they were great with her and knew what needed to be checked when Dr. West walked into the room. So I think it is hit or miss as far as patient care goes but they are way over priced. Dermatologist has been in business for many many years. Glad I got a second opinion.

I've been here quite a few times with 3 different pets and couldn't be happier with the care they've received. I recently had a cat procedure done and had many questions and they were so patient and thoughtful about responding to every question and phone call. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I live right by here.
My dog has anxiety and does not like going most places. She goes here with no issues, and sits right on the scale in the lobby no problem.
The med refills are seamless.
Tech calls are on point.
Vaccine records timely.
Parking on the south side (22nd St.) is adequate. But, Dutch Bros traffic across the street, and Broadway corner, can be busy.
Sometimes closes earlier than 6pm, so call ahead of time if you want to show up later.
