Hannah researched the answer and promptly called me back with a solid answer. As many insurers today move more and more towards eInsurance/digital solutions it is nice to still have personable agents who will speak with you! AI may save money for the carriers, but, it will never replace the one-on-one interaction between an agent and her customer.”

“Mary Allred is so good. She checks in with us every couple of months to make sure we have what we need and that is so reassuring. I know if we need her she will be their 100%.I would never go to any one else. She has always been great.Our Agent Mary Allred went the extra mile or more to assist my mother in obtaining insurance after the company she had used for many years decided not to do business in Washington State. She helped us understand what needed to be done and obtained the insurance once we had completed this. She had to make a few trips to my mother's home. She was so kind and friendly to my mother and put her mind at ease. My mother also really liked her. She really took care of the situation, and we really appreciate that to this day. I would never change agents, for sure. I will add we are just as pleased with Mary Allred as we ever have been, she is thoughtful, and we receive birthday notices which is very nice. We are very pleased with Farmers and have no complaints. Mary is so well informed and always has her client's best interest at heart. We have not had any reason to file any claims for quite a while, however it is comforting to know should we need to Mary will handle it as we trust her and her complete understanding of clients' needs. Plus, she is a very pleasant person to work with. She chooses to stay with Farmers Insurance and that tells me they are a top-notch company. Thank you, Mary!Here it is June already and Mary Allred has taken the time to check with us again during this busy time of year for her. She is always right on the ball to check out her customers to see if they have a need. Forutnately we do not at this time, but it is sure nice to know she is there for us if something should happen. “I've recently received the following phone message from my State Farm Insurance carrier, telling me State Farm was not going to renew my homeowners' policy. (Not my agent, his assistant.) "The reason for the non-renewal is just basic claim activity. I know there's two claims in 2022 neither of them out any amount, but we're looking at frequency here, so they still count as two homeowners' claims, you know within the past year or so. So, the underwriting team has decided to non-renew the homeowner's policy, you have until June 29th." I was a bit confused because this was the only two inquiries since 2017 when we started our policy coverage. I called the Washington Insurance Commission to help me understand what just happened. The representative was very helpful. She explained that when you have a question to see if something is covered, do not go to your Home Insurance first, ask the Insurance commission. Some insurance companies base renewability on activity not just claims and State Farm is one of them. The representative advised I might consider a brokerage to solve the issue I'm in right now. I went to Yelp, read the reviews and I called Westphal Insurance and I was not disappointed. Julie is great. I was so worried about not having coverage and she just started working on it immediately and I am so grateful to have found them. Julie gave me comprehensive solutions and educated us on the coverage options we do have. As scary as it got, we are all so grateful and relieved.”
