For a Bad Time Call I deposited retirement money in a certificate that sits quietly most of the time earning a little interest for me and probably much more for this place. Once in a while I need a small service thing done. When I called their customer service, they had no idea what I was talking about. Other banks, when this request gets to the right person, can do it in about 1 minute. Finally they sent me to Operations who assured me it would get done within 2 business days which is well before month end. By month end, it still was not done. This is a con game. Financial institutions are supposed to provide a trained staff who can respond to reasonable requests from customers. They save a lot of money by not training staff nor hiring people of caliber. More profit for them, but a bad time for customers. Do you want to give the honor of your business to people who con the public like this?

Horrible customer service. If you go to a branch, they can’t help you, they call the same customer service line regular people do and have to wait on hold. So you get to wait on them, while they wait on hold, to talk to someone who can’t help.Credit Card got stolen, they refunded the purchases but my minimum payment was almost $1000 because they couldn’t resolve the issue before statements went out. Too bad, so sad, Pay up. You’d have better luck at a bank. Federal credit Union is more of a marketing tool than an actual benefit. What a joke.

I HATE banking its a sore subject that I avoid at all costs I don’t know a lot its not my expertise. ANNA continuously gives an excellent personal experience every dang time (silly and fun) willing to make it work and not a passive help that everybody is. She makes me want to work towards my goals, I’m a small business owner and I feel like I now have the potential to expand and be big. She doesn’t pretend to know it all and gives great direction (AND IS Real and human). I didn’t even know she was the branch manager she is always a teller in action. This places stands out because of her and the group. Top Notch. Her and Rachel make me laugh and Allissa has great humor.Keep it up rooting for ya

I've had my own checking and savings account for 30 years now. I had tried several different banks before I found Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. I've been with Alaska for 9 years now and I'm still impressed. My money is safe, their staff is knowledgable, respectful and always helpful. On the rare occasion I've had issues, like my credit card getting hacked or getting double charged on a purchase, Alaska has always stepped up and taken excellent care of me and my money. I'm here to stay. Thanks Alaska!

Anna V. Branch Manager, is a great representative for Alaska USA. She respects a person's time and answers all questions. Very knowledgeable. I give her 10 stars, thus giving Alaska a great rating. Oh, and their rates beat the big B and 2 other institutions.

What upsets me as a long time customer is the fact that they are not open on the weekend which happens to be my only days off. They used to be open and now they are not on the weekends. How do I suppose to cash my checks when they close at 6pm when I work til 6. Most people who work have they weekends off and the weekends they are closed. Most banks are open on the weekends for the customers convenience. I cant get off work before 6 so making it to the bank is almost never possible for me now with this bank. Horrible customer service and I have been a loyal customer for many years and this is what I get for it.

Had an excellent experience with shared branching at this location last week. The branch manager introduced herself as she seems rather new since I've been using this location for a while and have never seen her. She is an asset and very knowledgeable (obviously driven) I learned more in our 5 minute conversation than I have from my own credit union. HAD to say something, it's refreshing to see people that care and are excited about their work. Probably making the switch.

I can't say enought about Alaska Federal Credit Union. They do an amazing job with your money and don't ever treat you like just another account. Things are personal and friendly with them. They provide great customer service and these local branches inside grocery stores are super convenient. Their app and website are great too! Plus Alaska Federal Credit Union really cares about the community. They even sponsor the new semi-pro soccer team coming to Everett, Everett Jets FC! It's just nice to see them giving back to the community, especially during such a difficult time with Covid.

I stopped going to this branch because of the rude employees. Bad energy. Well, Edmonds is no better. Brian, angry person at Silver Lake was transferred to Edmonds. So sad, just go anywhere else. Can't fix stupid . . . .

I love this bank for everything the only issue I’ve ever had is they charged me for their car insurance despite having proof of my own. The corporate customer service is no where close to what you get at the branches. Five stars.

They apparently have a hard time posting car loan payments properly. Three times now they've incorrectly posted my payment and I end up getting letters and phone calls saying my account is overdue when in reality IT IS NOT...SMH...
