“Update: My husband and I can finally shop without getting stopped at the door while someone looks at the receipt and inspects our cart for 5+ minutes. When I go on my own and can’t reach something, the closest employee is always quick to help me. The store is always clean and almost always has exactly what I need. I appreciate the greeters at the door who stand there with a smile, see I have my loooonnggg receipt and let me walk out in peace with my usual and regular $600+ dollars in dog food so I can get home and feed my rescues.
Walmart; if the person at the door is only checking receipts for people of color, there is a problem. If they’re holding up the same people for several minutes trying to find items on receipts, there is a problem. Figure it out. I have no problem going to Costo where they fairly check everyone’s receipts and do it quickly.”
