Plateau removed and repaired the engine from our GMC Topkick C4500 truck. The head gasket was replaced, new bolts installed, new hoses, belts, oil pan replaced, fuel pump installed and numerous other repairs. It was a significant and very costly repair. However, Plateau staff did a great job keeping us informed as the repairs proceeded along with installing quality replacement parts. We recently took the truck on a trip hauling our large RV and it performed better than ever. We are very pleased with the work done and recommend this shop for diesel truck repairs.

Recently had my 2018 f-250 for some routine maintenance to be performed. Plateau diesel was very helpful and even found a few other things that could have left me stranded down the road. They communicated every step of the way and even gave me a discount when they didn’t have too! Plateau diesel has my business for life. Keep up the good work you guys!

Misdiagnosed my truck, wanted to do a bunch of repairs to the fuel system, had a feeling they were wrong so I took it else where and it was a simple boost leak, also stupidly referred my dad to them and he had a miserable experience and had to take his truck elsewhere to have their work fixed.

I thought I had found a good place to take my Dodge pickup after having them fix some shorts in the electrical system they did a great job. However I decided to have them fix my AC that hadn't worked in years. I had them give me a bid to replace the AC pump and dryer as the truck had 200,000 miles on it. They gave me a bid of 1,800 so I told them to go ahead. When I picked up the truck they said I didn't need the compressor and there were no leaks. I was charged $1,100 for this. The AC slowly got warmer through the summer. After taking it back to have them check it they gave me a price of $1,900 to replace the compressor this time. I told them if they had replaced it last year when I asked I wouldn't have to pay twice. They agreed with me but did not offer any resolution to this. At the time they also recommended I replace my steering stabilizer shock which I had replaced last year. I decided to pick my truck up and do without my AC.
I originally gave them one star but I moved it up to three. They did call me 3 weeks later after reviewing what I had wrote and offered to fix my AC for free. However I had already bought the parts and was having a friend with a AC pump install it.

I am a single mom trying to make ends meet and had an issue with my GMC truck. I was referred to them to get my truck looked at. The moment I walked in, knowing I was going to get screwed for repairs, WAS the complete opposite. They diagnosed my issue and gave me an honest evaluation and what needed to be done. I would recommend them to EVERYONE!. The honesty and options they displayed was welcoming and I trusted them. 5 stars if not more. You can’t buy Integrity!.
