The salon is always clean, there is plenty of room to social distance and Jesselyn always does a killer job on my hair! What's not to love?

I was walking by and saw they were open still, keep in mind it was 740pm and they are operating under King County level 1.5 Covid-19. So I asked if I could get a quick cut. To my suprise she said, "Ya, come on in". Very professional and got me in and out efficiently. Thank you Jesselyn!

I had schedule an appointment with HKL Studio.Salon with Carolyn the owner for a Haircut as a New Customer. My Appointment was at 2:30pm. Checked in at 2:30pm. I was told my appointment was at 3:00 PM? Carolyn said she was with a client and she would bring me back at 3:00pm. Carolyn was able to bring me back earlier because her clients hair was processing. She washed my hair. She did not put any conditioner or styling product on my hair. All the years I've had Haircuts at other salons they condition and put styling products on my hair. So while she was cutting my hair a client came in at 3:00pm. Carolyn asked this client her name. She then asked me my name? Carolyn said I did not have a scheduled appointment. Carolyn's voice got louder and louder and she said you (DON'T) have an appointment. I had reminded her that I had scheduled this appointment the previous week. Carolyn went through her appointment book and found my scheduled appointment scheduled further down the road. I had no intention of booking an appointment that far-out. The client at the desk was very kind and rescheduled. At no time did Carolyn apologize for her mistake. The way she addresses me by raising her voice is Not professional or exceptable. I felt Very uncomfortable. No one should be treated that way, especially a paying customer. I Give her Negative Stars!

The first time I came here, I received a wonderful haircut from Morgan, she remedied a previously horrible haircut I got elsewhere. The second time in I saw Carolyn, she squeezed me in and was able to freshen up my look for spring. I look forward to my next appointment with her!

I love this place, I've been getting my hair done by Carol, since about May of 2018 and loved each hair cut, got colored as well and it came out beautifully! I couldn't ask for a better place! Very nice people and relaxing environment. Just perfect.
