30 Broadview Rd, EllensburgWe have been going to Cindy for around 15 years and she is fabulous both with my dogs and my own schedules. Anyone complaining about her not being open all the time was a very bad year or so for her as she lost her husband unexpectedly and had to work through her grieving process. Those of us that knew her and her husband just backed off a little and gave her the time she needed. She is a lovely lady and a friend now and she is doing well and very busy back to work. My dogs just love her and she does a fabulous job with them so for those of you that have left negative reviews please allow some Grace to others around you if you don't know their situation. Ellensburg Kennels
430 Klocke Rd, EllensburgThe owners were so friendly, communicative, and accommodating. Felt totally comfortable leaving our two rowdy boys for a week. On arrival you could tell they've had many years experience working with dogs. It was nice to know and see they were not confined in crates and were able to play. Will definitely be using this kennel again!

1800 Vantage Hwy, EllensburgIf you are lucky enough to live near this animal hospital, you should be using their services. We were on a long distance trip (from Alaska to Mexico) when our Labradoodle cut her back leg (unknown how) and we needed to have her looked at while we were stopped over in Ellensburg. They fit her in right away, were kind, gentle, and just wonderful to work with! Thank you all for your help - Peaches is all healed now and we made it safely to Mexico!

Valley Veterinary Hospital

Gungho Dog Training
841 Cowboy Ln, EllensburgWe did a board and train for our dog Teeter and it was amazing. She had pretty bad leash/general reactivity from her likely troubled past before we rescued her. Cody and Micah worked wonders with her. When we dropped her off she was a fairly obedient dog with reactivity issues, when we picked her up she was an extremely obedient dog with basically no reactivity. They have her a safe and structured environment to let her really come into herself and be the goodest girl she can be. We are extremely grateful for Gungho dog training and would highly recommend it to anyone! Lastly, our favorite thing about Gung-ho is their dedication to get it right. They don’t simply train your dog and say “here ya go!” They train your dog and they train you to continue training your dog which is extremely important and valuable. Impeccable business practices, and fantastic results!

Hayday Bake and Brew
215 W 3rd Ave, EllensburgHayday Bakery is absolutely *phenomenal*. I cannot recommend them enough. You think you're getting a plain old M&M cookie? Wrong! It's actually a shortbread -- perfectly cooked: not over or underbaked-- with M&M's: perfect, incredible. If you've ever made shortbread you understand how impressive this is. The crust on the quiche and lemon glazed handpies (!) are perfectly flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious. I've been known to be annoyingly elitist regarding my baked goods: Hayday not only passed the bar, they've raised it. I will never visit another bakery again without comparing it to Hayday. And the server remembered my friend who had come into town a month earlier to visit and picked up goodies for us both times. Gold stars all around.

1800 Canyon Rd, EllensburgI just love coming to this location. I live 26 miles away and worth the trip. I only go about once a week, however they always remember me & my drink. In a world where businesses (their employees)have forgotten how important to their bottom line, this one hits the nail right on the head.
They genuinely seem to care about you & how you may spend your day. (They always ask are you doing anything fun today) For the most part most all their staff is about college age. It's nice to see how kind they are.
