My wife dropped by VIP Cleaners with several dresses my daughter had found in a thrift store, some of my dress shirts and a small Guatemalan purse of my daughter's that needed a zipper repaired. My wife asked the owner about repairing the purse zipper and he said they didn't do that but she should have it repaired before trying to dry clean it. She told him she didn't want to dry clean it but he kept repeating it needed to be repaired first. He next asked her if she had been in before and where she had taken dry cleaning before. She told him and he asked her why she wasn't going back there (very odd questioning). She told him she was not working during the summer and this cleaner was easier to get to from our home (she passed by the other on her way to work). He next began inspecting the clothes and said the dresses would cost $30 each to dry clean because he used and Eco-friendly method. $30 was more than most of the dresses had cost at the thrift stores. My wife asked about the shirts and he said those would be washed and would cost $5 each. My wife began sorting them and found one shirt with the sleeves rolled up. She began shaking it to open up the sleeve and the owner yelled at her to stop because he didn't want dust in his store. She said they weren't dusty she was just trying to straighten out the sleeve. He said that is what they would do and to leave it alone. She asked him why he was being so rude and he scooped up the clothes and put them back in the bag and told her to leave. My wife was shocked. She'd never been treated like that before at a business. How this place stays in business is beside me but no one should patronize any business that treats customers like that.

Love this place. I walked in with a vintage overcoat and the owner excitedly talked me through the material make-up, the fact that it has a union tag (so apparently that means it was manufactured before 1982 in the US!), how to replace the lining, etc. he told me how his cleaning materials would interact with my coat, gave me a quote, and encouraged me to look around to make sure I am good with his quote. I’m definitely coming back!

What a strange experience. I had some older shirts and pants that I wanted cleaned and pressed and the guy (owner, I presume) gave me nothing but grief, saying several times that he didn't want to clean them if I wasn't coming back. Then he hassled me about starch and other things.I just wanted my stuff cleaned and didn't care if they were perfect. Just do your best with the damn clothes and tell me when to pick them up.I'm not going to sue you for a grease spot on the pants. It was like talking to a brick wall. We went around and around a few times before I walked out the door to a cleaner down the street and lived happily ever after. How bizarre.

The owner is so careful with my clothes. He points out areas that need special attention and tells me what he will do to my garments; when I return, he tells how to store it. He even knew my name after I first used VIP CLEANERS! He knew what I had dropped off and cheerfully spoke. Environmentally friendly, it’s a Win Win!Services: Clothes pressing

High integrity!! I was going to drop off my dress to be cleaned and after the owner inspected it he recommended a better way to clean it at home vice spending the money in his shop. Wow!! I am totally going back here again!!

I used VIP Cleaner for about 8 months. The owner was initially nice and did a fine job. His turn around time is two weeks, which is absolutely acceptable for me. I come every week though to drop clothes, as it is my preference. The owner did not seem to have any issues with this, as he never made any comments. This changed about five weeks ago, when he made a nasty comment about me coming every week and him needing two weeks to return the clothes, leading to the need to open two tickets for me. He also made a rude comment about why I needed to bring a shirt while I could wash it at home. Since then, every following week, he has been rude. Last week he made minute-long comments about me being able to mow come every Friday and pick up my clothes, reducing the turn-around time from two weeks to one week. But as he spoke he was even more rude. I asked him three times or so to confirm I come every Friday, as I sometime have to ask people again to make sure I got it right. To which he said "Do I speak English to you?". Then today, Friday, May 12, 2023, as I came to pick up my clothes, he was extremely cold. When I asked him how he was doing as part of the greeting, he ignored me. And after paying, as I said "Bye" after he handed me back my credit card, he again ignored me, turned around and went back to the back of the shop. This way to interact is unacceptable on a purely social level, let alone between a business owner and his customer. I do not comprehend how he chooses to behave in such an un-professional manner while expecting to retain his customer's business.

VIP cleaners is honest and forthcoming with all prices. They’re also the only eco-friendly in Edmonds. I brought in a pretty destroyed dress I wore at a wedding, and he promised he would do his best but could not guarantee 100% removal of all the stains. But guess what, he DID. This is a very important small business to support, and I’m happy to do so!

One day when it was very crowded and the owner was busy with another customer, the owner's son helped me out and was able to expedite the processes. As I recently hurt my back, it has been difficult bending down and his son helped me out and had a great smile! 10/10 would recommend!

I went in with three dress shirts and two pairs of slacks inquiring about dry cleaning services.First thing I was told was that I was going to wait 5 business days for my garments to be finished. I said that was fine because I was in no rush. To the owners surprise, he stated I would actually have to wait over the weekend too, and my items would then be ready Monday.I asked when the best day to bring in my items would be for fastest turnaround and he stated no matter what I do, I'll be waiting over a week.He pointed at the door and told me there were other dry cleaners in the area.Corry's cleaning in Edmonds happily took my business and told me my services would be completed within 48 hours with no expedite fees.VIP cleaners is a last resort! Unhelpful and extraordinarily rude.GO TO CORRY'S!

Nice guy at the counter. It was so expensive, I thought about leaving but decided against it. I recommend shopping around over the phone before going here. I felt like I was ripped off.
